She stood and stretched. His eyes widened. Her shirt rode up just enough to give him a glimpse of skin. “I’m hot. Is anyone else hot?” She fanned herself. Ryan chuckled as Andi tied her tank top i n a knot, revealing her flat stomach. She pulled her hair into a bun and sat back down on his lap.
Ryan leaned into her ear and whispered. “ Ten bucks Merck breaks first. Lay will kill me later but here goes.” He ran his finger down her arm and she shivered. “Make it good babe.”
Andi whispered back. “Ten says Caleb.” She giggled and swatted his hand away. She leaned down and sniffed him before putting her hand on his thigh. “What are you wearing? You smell delicious.”
Caleb glanced at Jena. “What am I seeing?”
“Can we just play? Please?” Kevin brought the buzzer around to stand behind Steve while he gave his clues to Ryan and Andi.
Steve grabbed a card from the box and started. “Something you want to have….”
Ryan squeezed Andi. “Sex.”
“Orgasm.” She leaned in and touched Ryan’s chest. She could see Kevin’s face turning red. It was working.
Steve cleared his throat. “No. Something you want to have on a hot day.”
Andi sniffed Ryan’s neck. “I’m sticking with orgasm.”
Ryan reached into Andi’s hair and pulled the knot free. “Wear this down. I like it down.”
Caleb jumped up from the table, knocking his chair down in the process. Andi locked eyes with Ryan and they both laughed. Jena covered her mouth and snorted as she got up from the table. Caleb glared at his sister. “ What the hell, Andi? Cut the shit, West.”
Ryan laughed even harder. Andi walked toward him but Caleb knocked her hand away. “Come on. Lighten up, brother dearest.”
Kevin ran his hands through his hair and down his face. He growled when he made eye contact with Ryan. “Moretti isn’t the only one that’s gonna get knocked out. Keep it up, brother.” He was not amused.
Andi high fived Ryan. “Caleb broke first. You owe me ten bucks.”
Kevin sat down at the table defeated. The hurt on his face made Andi suck in a breath. Was he upset? This was not what she expected. She had wanted anger. Action. Anything to make her feel alive. The way she had the day in Ryan’s kitchen. The way she felt alive last night in her car. She sensed his stare and looked over at him.
“Are you done?” Kevin stood from the table. “Is this mind fuck over?”
Without waiting for a response, Kevin pulled her off Ryan’s lap, threw her over his shoulder and headed for the stairs. Caleb put his head in his hands while everyone cheered.
Chapter 11
Kevin’s feet pounded up the steps as though Andi weighed nothing. She never protested. He slammed the guest room door and pressed her against the wall with his body. His velvet lips found hers in that familiar dance they were perfecting. Their tongues touched, the sparks between them flying.
He growled. “Don’t talk.” He yanked her shirt off and unclasped her bra. His shirt was next and he was pulling her skirt up before she could react. He licked her neck making his way up to her ear. Biting the lobe, he whispered. “I had an amazing night planned for us the first time. You’ve forced my hand, doll. Now I have to mark my territory. I have to show you what you and that smart mouth do to me. Brace yourself.”
