rest of the items you have with you and begin packing the rest. Would you like it delivered to the address you gave us already?”
“Yeah—” he shuddered and his eyes rolled back into his head when Skylar’s tongue delved into his crack. “That would be great. We’ll see you when we finish. I mean, when he’s finished trying things on.” God, he needed to close the door right now or these people were going to witness a hell of a lot more than they wanted to.
The owner’s face screwed up in distaste, but he didn’t say anything. In contrast, the young woman giggled before turning the involuntary sound into a cough when her boss shot her an unamused look. Remy winked, making her blush furiously.
Skylar’s hands spread his ass cheeks and Remy had to hope the promise of selling tens of thousands of dollars’ worth of clothes in one day was enough of an incentive for the owner to keep quiet and stay away from this area of the shop until they came out. He shut the door and dropped his head against it as Skylar’s breath blew over his hole and balls. He went from mildly aroused to game ready in less than two seconds.
“Urgh, Skylar, what are you doing to me?”
    “Can’t you feel it?”
“You rimming me? Yeah I can,” he groaned, pushing his ass back for more.
“No, the heat and the connection. It’s pouring off you. It snapped into place when I was changing, and you heard me.” Skylar punctuated the argument with a bite to his ass cheek as if he knew Remy’s attention was wavering.
    Because we fit.
Okay, that he heard. Pushing away from the closed door, Remy managed to turn around without getting tangled up in the ragged mess of what was left of his clothes. The beautiful sight of Skylar’s naked body greeted him. “That was you. I heard you in my mind?”
Nodding, Skylar turned those bright blue eyes up to him. Yes. The link is finally complete. Jake’s serum must have removed the wall keeping me out.
His wolf jumped to attention and he felt the alpha power begin to rise like it hadn’t since he’d first won the challenge against Trevor. A shot of adrenaline entered his bloodstream as excitement tickled at his stomach. There was nothing between them now. He concentrated on Skylar’s voice, the one that fluttered like butterfly wings across his mind and followed it though the bond until he saw what he didn’t even know he’d been missing out on.
Everything he’d felt before when he’d mated Skylar and said the vampire words that bound them together seemed like a lighter, paler version of what was between them now, like a printer that had run low on ink compared to a master painter.
“How did I not know…Did you?”
“No. I’d heard stories, but thought they were just romantic tales. I can feel you more, like you’re wrapped around me.”
That conjured up very interesting images that played out between them as if they were watching a movie, and he retreated out of the mental connection as his wolf demanded another kind of contact. He took hold of Skylar’s shoulder and lifted him to his feet.
His mate picked up on what he wanted and smiled as he backed up. “Are you fast enough?”
“Let’s find out.” He darted forward, but Skylar was already gone.
He growled and lifted his head, taking in a deep breath to scent out his mate.
    On the right.
Remy leaped in that direction, confident he would catch Skylar, but he only met air. Damn vampire was fast. Catching a blur of movement on his left, he pounced, and this time collided with a tall display stand, cracking the safety glass so it looked like a spider web. The happy, light laughter that filled the room made him growl. He rolled his shoulders to loosen the tight muscles that quivered with excitement that Skylar had tricked him.
His wolf appreciated the cunning of his mate, enjoyed the game. However, now it was time to end it and claim Skylar properly. He tracked the slight whistling in the air and sprang as it would have
