her. Bo also took a nipple in his mouth. Callie glanced down. Rafe kept a steady rhythm, but finally lifted his head.
Bo also stopped sucking on her breasts.
Rafe gripped her hips and fairly sent her off the far edge of her desk with each thrust. He also stared down at her bouncing breasts, still wet from where they’d been sucking on her.
Rafe put his finger and thumb on her clit and pinched her a couple of times. Her climax came so fast she didn’t have time to temper her reaction. She screamed. Bo covered her mouth soon after with a kiss.
Rafe stiffened and a guttural sound came from his throat. He then flattened against her, pressing her shoulder blades into her desk blotter.
She glanced over at the clock on her desk. It wasn’t even ten in the morning. However she’d already had three orgasms, had two men fuck her, and had one visiting enemy.
Yesterday had been filled with a series of shocks. Today had been even better. For the first time in a long time, she looked forward to what tomorrow might bring.

    * * * *

Bo eagerly waited for Callie to come to his house for dinner tonight. Earlier when they’d been at her ranch, he’d told her he wanted to see her alone and invited her to a special dinner.
The twin headlights entering the area right outside his house signaled to Bo that his very special dinner guest had arrived.
Callie stepped from her car wearing a jeans skirt and shirt. She was even more beautiful now twelve years later. He met her on the porch as she climbed the well-worn stairs needing a paint job.
The moment they met she threw her arms around his neck. He pushed his face into the space between her neck and shoulder, inhaling the unique scent of her.
    “What’s for dinner?”
“That’s a surprise. You’ll have to close your eyes before entering my domain.”
“Why isn’t Rafe with us again?”
“I asked him to give us a couple hours alone to reminisce. He’ll join us later on.”
“I see. All right. Reminisce away, then. What are we going to do first?”
    “Close your eyes.”
Her eyes closed. He led her into his house and further into his den where he’d laid out a picnic on the floor.
Twelve years ago, they’d planned to meet in an old barn on her property. She told him that she’d planned a picnic with all his favorites. Fried chicken, potato pancakes, a large cluster of grapes, and frosted brownies for dessert.
Twelve years later, Bo planned a picnic with all her favorites. Grilled, marinated, boneless chicken on skewers, twice baked potatoes with bacon and cheese, strawberries dipped in chocolate, and angel food cake.
He’d lit a few candles and placed them around the room.
    “I smell food.”
    “Open your eyes.”
He watched her eyes pop open and take in all the preparations he’d made. She sucked in a surprised breath. “It’s all my favorites.”
“Of course, I know you made me all mine twelve years ago.”
“I did.” She kissed his mouth. “Thanks, Bo. This is great.”
“I like to reminisce the right way.”
They sat cross-legged on the floor and feasted on her favorites. Bo told her all the things he’d done and where he’d gone after leaving town. She told him about her father getting sick and lingering. The horrendous bills for his care and only coming close to getting solvent in the past year and how it had dominated her life.
“I’m lucky to even be this close. I know there are lots of folks that lost everything. I just need to get through this season with a good batch of cows, giving me more cattle to make the ranch a lucrative investment for anyone on the earth besides Drew Kincaid.”
Bo watched her talk and wished she’d been able to fulfill her dream before now. She’d worked so hard for it and yet he now marked less than a year before she’d be gone. “I have a couple of buyers lined up out of state, but certain conditions have to be met. I’m close, but without your help, I’d be in trouble. Thanks, Bo.”
