CHAPTER 10
    ~*~*~

Somewhere during the mention of luggage being delivered to my room , a reality set in – adulthood. I would be “living” with a man, and sharing a bed with that man, for two whole days.
I was immersing myself into the idea when in the distance, the two men became clearer. One in professional attire, the other casual.
The closer we got, the more the full ‘packages’ came into focus.
Valentina turned her head to me with a sly grin when I said, “ Damn …” I hadn’t realized I said it out loud, but the cat was out of the bag.
    Sexy ass Brazilian men!
I had yet to see one I didn’t like. My decision was made…I didn’t care which of them was mine because I would gladly take either.
Valentina was the first to speak. “Boa tarde, cavalheiros.”
The one in the suit stepped forward and kissed her on both cheeks. When he stepped back into position, the second guy took her hand and brought it to his lips, kissing it softly.
“It’s very nice seeing you, Valentina ,” said ‘Mr. Suit & Tie’ before turning his attention to me. “E quem é esta senhora encantadora diante de mim?”
Manuel, the Adonis in jeans, had already made his way to greet Iyanna, and immediately, I saw there was something magnetic between them. I didn’t blame her. He was nice looking – rugged and sexy, in a bad boy kind of way.
“ Victor …” Valentina scolded. “Such an impatient boy, you are. You’re going to scare her away,” she smiled, while taking her place next to me. “This is Gabriella and she will be your hostess for the next two days.”
He approached and greeted me with an embrace. Assertive, I liked it. I liked it a lot. His scent was an expensive one. His personality was comforting. He struck me as the type who had no problem going for what he wanted.
    Attractive characteristic in a man.
Still in his arms, I acknowledged, “Such a warm welcome, Victor. Thank you . I feel wanted already.”
As Victor and I released from our embrace, Valentina asked, “Is everyone comfortable?” I want to leave you to your time if I am no longer needed.”
Looks were exchanged, but no one spoke up.
“Alright. Well, if that’s everything, I will see you around. Have fun!”
She winked at me as she departed. If I could have reciprocated without looking stupid, I would have, but since I never learned to wink, I settled for a smile instead.

    ~*~*~

Not long after Valentina left, Iyanna and Manuel disappeared without so much as a word. It didn’t take a rocket scientist to guess where they’d traipsed off to, and that I probably wouldn’t see Iyanna until after he’d left – if at all.
Victor led me to seating in an area near the reception lounge with a perfect view of the pool where we could become better acquainted.
There was chemistry present between us. I felt it in the hug , and by the way he held onto me.
At one point the water in the pool caught a glint of the sun and it sparked a bright light that I was drawn to. When I realized how piercing it was to my eyes, I was forced to turn away.
I looked over at Victor to find he was staring at me – studying, maybe even admiring.
Smiling, I asked…“What’s on your mind, Victor?”
“I’m admiring your beauty. It’s a lot to take all at once. Not that Valentina fails on delivery. She always delivers, but I’m very pleased with this choice.”
“ Obrigada… ” I said, blushing. “I’m glad I meet your approval. It’s mutual. I find you extremely attractive, Victor. Your green eyes are striking,” I said moving closer to him. “They almost match my shirt.”
“Hmm…a match…much like the two of us .”
He didn’t break eye contact once as he spoke. He was extremely intense.
“ We could be …the way you look at me certainly makes me feel…special. Don’t stare too long though, you might find a flaw.”
“I don’t think that’s possible. Have you seen yourself?”
    “Flattery will get you
