see if they wanted to join them. It had
been a while since they’d done a breakfast, choosing instead to gather for
their monthly dinners at her restaurant.
The house was dark as she locked the front door. She glanced
at the kitchen clock as she walked by, noting the time was edging past one.
Both men were probably comfortably settled into bed. As much as she wanted a
shower to wash away the day, she didn’t want to disturb either of them. The
pipes that ran between their rooms knocked loudly, an indication the house
needed major renovations.
One more thing to do on the never-ending to-do list.
Something to think about discussing with Ryan. He was busy
with the reconstruction of the warehouse but maybe he could provide a
recommendation or two. Or maybe the contractor Dade had hired for the overhaul
on his house.
    Right now, time for bed.
Both bedroom doors were both closed, something she hadn’t
gotten used to yet. With only her and Tony living there, they’d never had to
shut doors before. A minor adjustment. Nothing she couldn’t handle. The room
was dark as she slipped inside, confirming her thought Tony had long ago called
it a night.
He’d kept texting her lurid messages about what he intended
to do to her. Seems as though she’d found the expiration date on his plan.
Damn. She’d have to find some way to make it up to him.
“I want you out of your clothes.”
The voice in the dark washed over her. The exhaustion of the
day melted away, arousal filling in the gaps. Seemed as though she wouldn’t
have to wait too long or look too far to make up her lateness to her husband.
She felt him touch the hollow of her throat, dancing against her skin. She
swallowed, need for his hands to be on her growing by the second.
“I’ve been thinking about digging our box out of the closet
for a few weeks now. Rediscover the things we’d stuffed in there when we said
we didn’t have time for them anymore.” He dipped his fingers under the neck of
her shirt, brushing against her skin. “I’m calling an end to that. Because now
we’re going to make the time.” Desire and heat filled her as he slowly
unbuttoned her black pinstriped chef’s jacket. “No matter how tired we are. No
matter how many comic books I’ve sold and how many chicken breasts you’ve stuffed.
I want to be the one filling you at night. Every night. Every morning.”
He tucked her jacket under his arm, slipping her shirt up
and over her head. Her durable black trousers were next, her sensible white
cotton bra and panties dropping to the top of the pile. To her surprise he
didn’t touch the expanse of flesh he’d exposed. Instead he replaced her jacket,
securing each button as carefully as he’d unfastened it.
Her eyes had finally adjusted to the dark and found his gaze
intent on hers. He played with the pearl buttons holding the coat closed. Her
heart raced as he leaned closer, his breath hot against her ear. “I thought
about this the other night. Leaving your uniform on after you came home.
Bending you over the bed. Clutching the ends of this perfectly ironed fabric in
my fists while I slid into the heat of your cunt. Your nipples sliding against
the inside each time I drive into you, exciting you even more. Your whimpers
and pleas filling the room. At least for a few minutes.”
“Dare I ask why only a few ?”
His green eyes flashed hot and mischievous. “I seem to
recall someone used to have a fondness for being gagged.”
Her mouth went dry, goose pimples erupting on her arms. She
could already feel the straps of the ball gag against her cheeks, the ache in
her lips as she stretched to accommodate its size. She’d forgotten how much she
used to enjoy the little sphere of rubber they’d once used so frequently.
Pleasure trailed up her spine as Tony’s soft growl of
approval sounded through the bedroom. “I see that fondness is still true. Good.
But I think we’ll save the gag for another night. No need to rush
