piece of the sheet on her arm.
Once the bleeding had stopped Ryker picked her up carried her to
the cabin he was renting, removed her clothes washed her body of
blood with a warm cloth and placed her in his bed. He noticed a red
mark on her shoulder turned her over and another one was on her
shoulder blade. She had been shot and from the looks of the wound
lost a lot of blood and it had been within the past day or so since
the mark was still visible. Suddenly he was filled with anger that
ran deep inside him and it wanted to burst forth. Ryker hit the
bedroom door with his fist. He felt better then!
    He then walked
the block to the motel room collected all of Thena’s clothes and
items including guns and carried them back to his room. When he
went back the third time he picked up the man who lay dead on the
floor and carried his body to the truck and drove off. Once the
body was disposed of he drove back to the cabin. Ryker had been
gone for over an hour. As he drove back to the cabin he wondered
how Thena was. It was good to see her again, he had missed her, and
it was like part of his heart had gone a stray and now it was back
where it belonged.
    Ryker used his
key and opened the door to the cabin. Walked in silently and worked
his way to his bed room. Thena was still out cold in the bed. He
smiled she was still beautiful, her eyes were swollen shut, she had
a fat lip, and her jaw was swollen and he could not get over how
beautiful she still was in his eyes. He thought to himself; too
think her beautiful in the condition she was in it had to be
nothing short of pure unadulterated love of the purest kind. It had
been a year since they parted, he had mellowed a little, missed her
like hell.
    He whispered
to her, “there has been no one else but you love. There never will
be; we belong together, I just wish you would realize it.” He would
not force her to come to him, she had to come to him on her own
terms, and he would wait even if it took forever, or the time never
came at all.
    Ryker smiled,
he had been born on the rise of the full moon. His Father was an
alpha male had a small pack in the states. If his mother had waited
another three days he would have been born on the full moon. He was
a leader, take charge kind of guy, he loved deeply, would always be
faithful no matter what; would think before he acted. He had a
temper, but lost it so seldom most thought he did not have one.
However, when he did lose it, damn the world he was a bull in china
shop. When push came to shove he shoved back and he shoved back
hard. Ryker was very manipulating alpha male. He would if he could
manipulate destiny when possible. He was romantic most times with
the female he was with, always buying flowers, or candy or taking
them out to eat, always remembered anniversaries. He was also a
patient lover making sure the female enjoyed herself as much as he
did. He had to admit since Thena and him split, he didn’t make love
he just had sex for the release and didn’t care about who he was
with, or if they were satisfied or not. The whores he was with
wanted it over quick get there money and leave which suited
him.
    Slowly and
carefully he slipped Thena’s night grown on to her body. Walking
back to the living room he smiled, “she needs me right now, whether
she likes it or not.”
    Ryker fixed
himself a sandwich and some soup and a salad. As he sat there and
ate he decided it would be wise to sleep on the couch such as it
was. After looking at the couch for about three minutes he decided
against that. In stead he made up a bed on the floor out of some
quilts and blankets and spare sheets, shut off the lights, crawled
in with a t-shirt on and a pair of briefs. The bed was made up next
to the door so all he had to do was reach out and grab someone
trying to leave or enter the bedroom. He made sure that with the
lights off he could not be seen from any direction. He appeared to
be nothing more then a shadow on the floor.
