“Here.”
“Silk,” I said, taking it and using it to wipe his cum off. “What a gentleman.”
He grinned at me. “I lose myself in that.”
I smiled back. “I’m not complaining.”
“I’d be disappointed in you if you were.”
We stayed together like that, side by side, breathing in the near darkness. I felt dizzy and spent, a satisfied buzz ringing in my ears.
I got what I wanted. But now I realized that all I wanted was more and more.

Wyatt
I knew what she was doing when she showed me that house. She was trying to show me her strength, but also trying to show me that she was more than just a mobster.
It worked, and it fucking made me hard. There was nothing more gorgeous than a powerful woman, and nothing made me harder than making a powerful woman suck my cock and beg for more.
We eventually left that house together. My driver took us both back to my hotel, since she refused to tell me where she lived or where she was staying. That only added to the mystique, and for a second I considered having Ethan follow her home.
But I thought better of that. I was interested in this business proposition of hers, and if that was going to work, I had to have a little faith in her.
Instead, I slept like a fucking baby.
The next day was a normal working day. I set up shop in the apartment and answered emails for most of the morning. Ethan disappeared around seven that morning and didn’t come back, which wasn’t unusual. Sometimes he disappeared for days at a time. He was his own man and could do what he wanted, so long as he showed up when I needed him.
The afternoon came, and I found myself thinking about Louisa again. I couldn’t help but wonder where she was, what she was doing. I wanted to find her and take her out again, maybe show her some of the places that were important to me in the city, but I didn’t have time. Unfortunately, I really did have work to do. As it turned out, being the attorney general wasn’t just all shaking hands and smiling for the camera.
The knock came at around three that afternoon. Tired and assuming it was Ethan finally coming back, I opened the door without a second thought.
Arturo Barone stood there, smiling at me.
    “Wyatt,” he said.
    “Arturo. What a pleasant surprise.”
I fucked your daughter last night, I wanted to say. That was an insane thought.
    “May I come in?”
    “Of course.”
I stepped aside and he walked in. I noticed his goons were standing guard outside, so I shut the door but didn’t lock it. “Drink?” I asked.
    “Of course.”
I poured two glasses of whisky and handed him one.
“Take a seat.” I gestured at a chair.
He sat, and I sat down across from him.
“What can I do for you, Arturo?” I asked.
“Wyatt. I’ve been very good to you over the years, haven’t I?”
“You have,” I said. “And I’ve repaid that kindness.”
“You have,” he agreed. “We’ve worked very well together over the years. I’ve been very pleased with our relationship.”
“Good. I’m happy to hear that.”
“But now I come to you for help.”
I raised an eyebrow. “Arturo, you know I can take care of things to an extent.”
    “This is a delicate matter.”
I had a sinking feeling in my stomach. “Go ahead, I’m listening.”
“You’ve heard about the Spiders, yes?”
I knew this was where he was going. I didn’t know how, but it was just my fucking luck that he was going to come to me about the Spiders. Just the night before, I was sleeping with his daughter, the leader of that gang.
“I’m aware of them,” I said.
“Then you know they’re dangerous. They’ve been cutting into my business, killing my men. They’re savages, disgusting savages. I need your help with them.”
    “What can I do?”
“The law isn’t moving on them. They’ve been bought off.”
“Bought off more than what you pay them?”
He smiled slightly at that. “Apparently. They assure me that isn’t the case, but they haven’t made a
