desperate to see her again.
Why couldn’t she shut off that cynical voice in her head and just enjoy the moment?
She could always walk away later. Before she got in too deep.
Slowly, he brushed his fingers across her cheek before he leaned down and kissed her slow, lingering. She knew it was already too late for that.

 Chapter Nine

Luna woke with a start. It took her a moment to gain her bearings. Carefully, she pried her eyes open. She was at home in her own bed, alone. The night before came rushing back to her. Hunter, she thought, with a ghost of a smile. Rolling over, she hugged her pillow.
One night with a virtual stranger and her life had spun out of control.
She laid there for a while, replaying the evening over in her head. She kept remembering how beautiful his hard, naked body was. The sex was just as intense as he was—off the charts.
Without a doubt the absolute best sex of her life.
Unconsciously, she touched her fingers to her lips.
Her body still ached to feel his hands, lips, and body on hers. Hell, it ached from what he’d done to her body last night;  their marathon sex.
Rolling over, she grabbed her phone. She had several texts from Grayson and Marcus, but the one that made her heart leap was from Hunter. Woke up wishing your mouth was on my cock.
Laughing, her hands flew across the screen. Funny, I was just thinking the same thing.
A couple of seconds later her phone dinged. Were you now?
Uh. Huh. In case it wasn’t obvious, I had fun last night.
Oh. It was obvious. Send me a picture. I want to see what I missed waking up with you.
Luna groaned. Her hair was a mess and she had no makeup on. Still, she lifted her phone and snapped a pic. She slept in the nude, and she made sure that was obvious by angling the camera so he could see the top of her breasts. But no further. She wasn’t stupid, she knew how guys liked to pass around pictures. It wasn’t only her reputation she had to worry about, but also her sister’s, since they were identical, so she never fell for the naked images or movies. She hit send and waited for his reply.
Damn. What time did you say you had to be at work?
Luna looked at the clock; she only had an hour and it took her thirty minutes to get there.
Not enough time. You’re just going to have to wait.
I’m not good at waiting. Turn on face time.
Sorry. I don’t do the digital peepshow.
I’m happy to hear that. Now turn on your face time.
Luna threw her head back on the pillow and clicked on the app, pressing the button to connect. Within seconds she was looking at Hunter’s striking face. Her stomach dipped. He was sitting shirtless in the swivel chair in front of the desk in his bedroom.
“Hey,” his voice crossed the line.
    “Hey yourself.”
“You’re sexy as hell with your just been fucked hair.”
Luna bit the bottom of her lip and smiled. “Aren’t you supposed to be at work?”
“I’m the new guy, remember? Still jumping through hoops with the paperwork.”
    “Lucky you.”
“Are you sure you don’t have enough time to stop by before you go to work?”
“I really don’t. And I’ve been late too many times this week.”
His grin formed slowly. “Tsk, tsk. Then I guess we’ll have to take care of my problem by proxy.”
Luna rolled her eyes. “I didn’t think you had a sense of humor.”
“There’s a lot you don’t know about me. Now spread your legs and let me see. And don’t worry, there will be no recording going on. You need to trust me.”
    “I don’t trust anyone.”
His brow drew together. “We’ll have to work on that. Are those silky thighs of yours spread?”
Luna sighed. “It’s like they have a mind of their own.”
“Dip the phone down so I can see.”
    “Hunter …”
“Luna, let’s not waste time with silly games. Tilt the camera so I can see you’re sweet pussy. It’s not even possible to record face time over the phone. I’d tell
