Trigger Happy (Girls with Guns, #2)
to have a business in town. While her store was on Main Street, she was nestled behind a bank and a fast food restaurant. She liked the afforded privacy it offered; yet the easy convenience of being situated in the business district.
They entered the store and Amber was immediately blown away by the way Gabbie had decorated the interior. All of the dressers and tables were painted antique white and the nightstands and chairs were a light mint color. The walls were painted with the same colors but were all used in a way that they complimented each other. The place was decorated in such a way that it gave the impression of being inside a bedroom - inside someone's personal space. The lighting was mellow, adding to the ambiance. It was beautiful.
The undergarments were strategically placed about the room, giving it the appearance of what a woman's bedroom might look like in anticipation of that special guy finding out what she's wearing underneath. High end bras dangled from open dresser drawers, stockings lay over backs of chairs and sexy panties covered various tables. The vivid colors of the lingerie pieces reminded Amber of a candy store. And that is exactly what she felt like, a kid in a candy store.
"Wow. This is amazing. Everything is extremely beautiful in here," she caressed the nearest pair of panties she found. "I love it all. You did a great job with the furniture and the colors and the idea of a messy slash sexy bedroom." Her voice was low but filled with excitement. "I love it, my girl."
Gabriella’s cheeks blushed from the attention; she bent her head, "Thank you. Logan helped me paint a lot of the furniture. As well as the walls. It took us forever, but I am very satisfied with the end result. Our time was well spent! Make yourself at home." Logan and Gabriella had been friends since second grade. Aside from the girls, he was one of her dearest friends.
"You guys did great! Oh, you have no idea how at home I am going to make myself."
About two hours later, Amber left Lolita with way more than she needed. She had sexy everything and she knew this was sad, no one to show it off to. But it was all so beautiful and elegant; she couldn't leave without most of what she had picked out to try on. The fabrics were simply amazing. They all felt like a second skin to her.

CHAPTER SEVEN
E ver since he kissed Amber, Gage had felt like a Yo-Yo. Nothing at work seemed to come out quite right, the way he liked. And he felt like a complete asshole for tormenting Amber the way he had. He wasn't usually like that. He treated women with respect and dignity. But somehow, with her, she pushed his buttons like no other woman ever had. He was tormented. His body wanted her like no tomorrow, his hands wanted to roam all over body and retrace spots on her that he thought he remembered would drive her wild.
But his brain knew she was trouble.
He had convinced himself a long time ago that going to a sex club was a big mistake - something a respectable man just didn't do. He had talked himself into and believed, that no good could ever come from doing something as outlandish as he had done. Nothing good. And if five feet and some odd inches of pure blond beauty with the brightest blue eyes and tightest, smallest ass he'd ever had the pleasure of looking at wasn't proof enough of his mistake, he wasn't sure what was.
He felt bad about being such a jerk to her. He really did. She was right in the sense that he shouldn't take out his life regrets on her. What kind of man did that to a woman? It wasn't her fault that she was part of his regret - she had gone to that place too, just like him, looking for something different. He didn't know what her ordeal was when she signed up for that particular rendezvous but for him, he had gone to explore his sexuality. He wanted to give pleasure to two women who needed his touch, craved him. At the time, he was looking for a place he felt wanted, needed. A place, where at the age of thirty-five,
