told his woman. “I really want outta that house because of ya girl Alinna. She the reason my nigga where he at now because of her bullshit.”
Sighing deeply and blowing into the receiver, Vanessa was really unable to go against what her man was saying so she simply said, “Baby, look! Can we talk about this when you get back home, please?”
“Yeah, whatever!” Dre replied. “We should be there by Tuesday night.”
    “I love you!”
“Yeah! I love you, too, Nessa!”
Hearing the way Dre sounded before he hung up, Vanessa gave another deep sigh just as she heard her cell phone go off again. Looking down, she saw it was her girl Amber calling.

Walking alongside Dominic as the two of them exited out of the building after his new employer finished his meeting with the five other supposed businessmen, Dante allowed the security team to cover them as they approached the Bentley.
Getting a nod from Carlos, Dante climbed into the Bentley behind his employer. Carlos shut the car door behind both of them.
“So tell me, Dante,” Dominic said as the Bentley pulled off, “what did you think of the meeting?”
Looking over to his employer, Dante met Dominic’s stare and after a moment said, “I think everybody at that meeting was full of shit and the dude Stevens is a problem that needs to be handled before he becomes an even bigger problem.”
“I agree fully!” Dominic replied, adding more to the conversation to see how Dante would respond. “But the problem with dealing with Stevens is that he is the biggest heroin dealer in Phoenix. He’s connected with some very powerful Japanese people who I’ve been trying to get into business with. Because of Stevens dealings with the Japanese, I’ve been unable to connect with the business that they would be willing to start with me.”
Looking back over at Dominic, Dante met his employer’s stare to let him know he caught on to what his employer was hinting at. He then turned and looked back out the car window, saying after a moment, “Get me the information on Stevens, and I’ll handle the rest.”
Dominic slowly smiled, realizing his new employee caught on to what he was hinting at. He pulled out his cell phone.

Dante allowed his mind to drift back to Alinna and Angela, along with both his son and daughter, forcing him to lose his train of thought until Dominic called out to him. He turned his attention back to his employer and replied, “Yeah, what’s up?”
“How taller are you, Dante?” Dominic asked, as he stared over at Dante with his cell phone in his ear.
    “5’ 11.”
    “Your weight?”
    “197 pounds.”
Nodding his head, Dominic turned his attention back to his phone call to pass on the information he had just received. He explained that they would be back to the mansion in a little while.
Hanging up the phone, Dominic turned back to Dante and asked, “Do you drive, Dante?”
    “You mean, do I chauffeur?”
“No, my friend,” Dominic answered, laughing at seeing Dante’s facial expression. “I mean, can you drive or would you rather be chauffeured?”
“I plan to take care of finding some wheels whenever I catch some free time. I also gotta find a spot to live close by.”
Nodding his head in response to Dante, Dominic grinned as he dug out a cigar from the inner pocket of his suit jacket.

They made it back to the mansion and waited until the Bentley came to a full stop out front. Dante opened the car door just as the driver was rushing around to open it for him and Dominic.
Dante nodded at the driver, who smirked and nodded back at him. Dante then stood to the side as Dominic stepped out of the Bentley as Carlos walked up.
“You’re free until tonight, Carlos,” Dominic told his head of security. “Remember, we’re leaving for the business dinner with Malcolm Pierce.”
“Yes, sir, Mr. Saldana,” Carlos replied, as both Dante and Dominic walked off and headed towards the front door of the
