a frenzy, driving her insane. When suddenly, the sensual storm slowed — narrowing and concentrating itself inside of her, and in the exhilarating moment — to a world that was only the two of them together.
Althea's ears were almost ringing, the intensity wrapping around her as she finally let go and simply descended into the sensations, into him.
Althea was so desperate to expand this new and incredible awareness of his body that she ran her tongue over his teeth, and then dove into his mouth, deeper. Griffen growled again, pulling her hair until she looked at him again.
    "Wow," she panted.
Griffen smirked and lightly grasped her jaw in his right hand, pulling her lips closer to his again so that his breath was tickling across her sensitized lips.
"Well put," he whispered. Griffen used his hold on her hair to take over the kiss, running his tongue over her full lips. "Christ, woman, you even taste like cherries, how is that possible?" He kissed her again, then pulled back to say, "Perfect," against her lips, as they caught their breath again. "Everything about you is so fucking perfect."
She moaned at his words and the pressure he was exerting against her feverish skin. He tilted her head to the side and attacked her mouth with a ferocity that had her feeling like she might burst from the sensation of electricity coursing through her fingertips, down to her toes, up to her core. His tongue passed over hers and explored her mouth in a way that made her feel she could barely move from the pleasure.
The few brain cells functioning at the moment sent a lazy message to Althea that she should consider being embarrassed because she was probably going to climax right here, on his black slacks, before they even got to the good stuff. Though it was hard to imagine it getting much better than this.
Althea pulled away, gasping for air and hungrily eyeing the sexy man in front of her. "I wish I could look at more of you." She eased off the glass of the window and yanked off his sport jacket, noticing how smooth the linen felt against her hands.
He grinned. "Excellent idea." And with even more force he shoved down the top of her dress, pushing it just below the rise of her breasts, forcing them upward. Her already upturned nipples pointed directly at him. He wrapped his hands around the sides and placed his lips gently across the dusty rose tips. "No bra?"
"Not much room in this dress to hide one. Is that a problem?" she asked with a smirk.
"Absolutely not. I just can't believe I sat across from you all that time and this little scrap of fabric was all that was between me and these perfect breasts." He licked one breast then the other, repeating the motion, but this time sucking and nibbling on her taut nipples.
She gasped and smiled back at him, "Mmm, my turn." Her hands rested at his waist. "What delicious options. Do I look at what I'm sure is a beautiful chest or go right for the gold?" she asked, stroking up his chest then lowering her slightly trembling hands, just barely grazing the top edge of the distinct bulge in his pants until a frustrated deep groan rumbled from his throat.
The masculine sound was so alien to her ears that Althea paused for a second, swallowing hard. She looked up at Griffen's handsome face, his eyelids slightly hooded with arousal.
The reality of her actions began sinking in and Althea's nerves rattled and zinged rapidly through her veins even as her whole body was humming at the deliriously exciting effect of this contact with his.
She breathed in and let her fingers trail back up his hard stomach and taut chest. So much time had passed since she felt like this — sensual and liberated.
Tonight, she could imagine she was a fully realized woman, defined by nothing more than her own needs and desires. Here, in this moment, there was no tragedy, no loss, only two people reveling in the pleasure they could bring to the other.
The thought of losing this chance was more sickening to her than
