flesh of his foreskin. 26  In the selfsame day was Abraham circumcised, and Ishmael his son. 27  And all the men of his house, born in the house, and bought with money of the stranger, were circumcised with him.
18: 1  And the L ORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day; 2  and he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground, 3  and said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant: 4  let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree: 5  and I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant.
And they said, So do, as thou hast said.
6  And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes upon the hearth. 7  And Abraham ran unto the herd, and fetched a calf tender and good, and gave it unto a young man; and he hasted to dress it. 8  And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat.
9  And they said unto him, Where is Sarah thy wife?
And he said, Behold, in the tent.
10  And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him. 11  Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women. 12  Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?
13  And the L ORD said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old? 14  Is any thing too hard for the L ORD ? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.
15  Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; for she was afraid.
And he said, Nay; but thou didst laugh.
    Matthew 6:1-24
1   Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
2   Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 3   But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: 4   that thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.
5   And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 6   But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
7   But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. 8   Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
9   After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10   Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11   Give us this day our daily bread. 12   And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13   And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
14   For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will
