stack of TNT toward the living room and called out for his friends.
âSteve!â Lucy called out.
Max and Henry entered the living room and the group let out a cheer. They were reunited with their friend.
Steve ended the celebratory reunion when he asked, âDid you know the griefer built a tunnel behind the TNT?â
âNo,â Adam was shocked and walked into the bedroom.
The others followed him. As they stood by the TNT, they carefully inspected the large hole the griefer had dug.
âWhen did he build this?â asked Max.
âWe never left the house. Maybe he did it while we were sleeping,â said Adam.
âHeâs very tricky,â Kyra said. âI never heard him while we were sleeping.â
âThere is no doubt that heâs tricky. Look at how much heâs done to us,â said Lucy.
Adam looked at the TNT and began counting the blocks.
âWhatâs the matter, Adam?â asked Steve.
âI think some of the TNT is missing.â
Lucy looked at the stack of TNT. âYouâre right. A few blocks are missing.â
âI wonder what heâs going to do with it?â asked Kyra.
Boom! The sound of an explosion was heard in the distance. The group sprinted outside to see what the griefer had destroyed.

THE GRIEFER
â N o!â Steve looked at his ruined wheat farm. Thomas had blown it up again.
âAfter all that work trying to get seeds,â said Kyra.
âAt least now people wonât think Iâm the griefer,â said Steve. âWhy would I destroy my own property twice?â
âI wouldnât be so sure,â said Adam. âThe villagers might think youâre playing a trick.â
Steve knew Adam was right and wanted to clear his name. He had to find Thomas. There was no other option.
âWe need to trap Thomas,â Steve told them. âI have to clear my name.â
Steve and the group sprinted back to the house. They didnât want Thomas getting his hands on any more TNT.
As they entered the house, they could hear a noise in the bedroom.
âItâs Thomas!â said Adam. âLetâs catch him.â
But they werenât quick enough. Thomas made his escape by jumping down the hole.
âDonât follow him!â Steve told them. âItâs better if we make our plan here. If we go down to the tunnel, Thomas has the advantage because he knows all of the hiding places.â
âHe can trap us down there,â added Henry. âHe did it before.â
Deciding on a plan wasnât easy. Everyone had their own opinion.
âI think we should hide the TNT all over Adamâs house and weâll trap Thomas as he searches for it,â said Kyra.
âI think we shouldnât sleep because Thomas seems to work at night,â suggested Max.
But when Adam spoke, Steve and the gang stopped talking and listened. âI think we should use the potion of weakness and have him confess. I know you all want Thomas to pay for his crimes, but Thomas is one of my best friends and there has to be a reason for all of this trouble.â
âAdam, youâre right,â said Steve. âWe have to talk to Thomas. Also heâs hiding my diamond sword and I want him to tell me where it is. And I want him to clear my name.â
The group sat and discussed a plan of action. âMaybe we can take all of our ideas and come up with a master plan,â said Steve.
âYes,â Lucy agreed, âI think we have to act fast though. I donât like that the villagers are calling you a griefer. I know they canât attack us, but I bet other people might come here and try to seek revenge.â
Steve and the gang decided to dig holes throughout the house. Adam brewed as many potions as he could with his resources. Lucy hunted for food, since the group needed to feast so their food bars would be full. They were going into battle against Thomas and they needed to
