through his entire body as a hot stream of cum shot over her bottom. He held her tight. Kade was breathing hard as he eased back, lowering her dress around her hips.
He kissed her neck, scraping his teeth over her shoulder.
    “You’re amazing,” he said.
She thought about the secrets she was keeping. Guilt mixed with her spiraling emotions. “Thanks. You’re not so bad either.”
Kade pulled the flaps of his jeans closed and adjusted his cock back inside his jeans. Wynn smoothed her spaghetti straps back up her shoulders and sat back down in the passenger seat. Kade ran a hand through his hair as he eased back behind the wheel.
He shifted the car into drive and headed back toward the main road. “I’ll give you back your shoes on one condition.”
It was sounding a lot like blackmail. The corner of her mouth lifted. “I’m listening.”
“You go climbing. You climb with me.”
She lowered her voice. “So you’re a climber.”
“Yeah, I am. I can keep up with you, too,” he said.
Wynn pretended to think about it as Kade pulled his big truck up next to her Jeep. “Doesn’t working for the Forest Service conflict with your ideals as a climber?”
He put the truck in park and looked at her hard. He reached around her shoulders and pulled her closer. Kade rubbed his hot fingers over the sensitive part of her neck. He kissed her passionately, dipping his tongue deep within her mouth.
He pulled a breath away. “No it doesn’t. I wasn’t always a special agent with the Forest Service.”
    “Oh?”
“I worked for the Secret Service for twelve years.”
She wanted to know more about that, but she didn’t ask. There wasn’t any information in his personnel file about his work for the Secret Service. “You really don’t want me climbing alone, do you?”
“No. You could get hurt and wouldn’t have anyone to help you.”
“Fine. I won’t climb alone. Are you free tomorrow?” she asked.
    “I have the day off.”
She pulled away and slipped her heels back on. “Good. I’ll give you a call. Maybe we can climb tomorrow,” she said.
Wynn went to snag the Scarpas but didn’t make it far before Kade’s hand reached out and stopped her.
“I’ll bring those when I meet up with you tomorrow.”
“You really don’t trust me on this, do you?” she asked.
He grinned. “No, I don’t. You’re my rule breaker.”
She smiled. “Meet me at Eagle Point Buttress. We’re climbing Pussy Whipped tomorrow afternoon at one.”
The corner of his mouth lifted. “Are you trying to tell me something?”
    “No, not at all.”
“That’s a nice area. It tends to get rowdy with campers that drink. I’ve had a few bottles thrown at my head when I’m climbing.”
“That’s why we’re going during the week. I’ve heard there’s a waterfall, too...”
“There is. It’s a nice place to camp in the summer,” he said.
    “See you tomorrow, ranger.”
Wynn got out of his truck feeling like she won, but the feeling didn’t last long. Next time they hooked up, she was planning on letting him know that this was just a casual fling. She couldn’t keep things going like this. She needed to rule him out so she could move on.

Chapter Nine

She was a rule breaker, always had been.
Wynn knew Kade followed the rules, so she hiked out to Pussy Whipped early. She was just coming through the clearing when she caught sight of Kade’s bare, muscled back glistening in the sun. Her breath left her, and it took her a moment to remember to breathe. Morning sunshine worshipped his back like an obsessed lover.
He hadn’t heard her approach. He was squatting as he ran the rope through his hands, checking for defects in the fibers. She watched his muscles go to work for him as he moved. Wynn had quiet footsteps when hiking through the woods. Slowly, she lowered her bag of gear to the ground and crept up behind him.
She covered her hands over his eyes.
He jumped and whirled around, taking her down to the
