hour.
    Slowly, I lift
Scott's arm and place it on his side, sliding out of the bed as quietly as
possible and attempting not to shake the mattress. Once I'm on solid ground my
hands search the hardwood floor for my clothing. I find my bra first, then my
jeans and blouse, but my panties are nowhere to be found. Scott grumbles in his
sleep and I know I have to get out of here fast before he wakes up.
    Screw finding my
panties.
    In record time I
have my clothing on and I'm slipping out of the guest bedroom, softly closing
the door behind me. The house is quiet so I make my way to the living room,
find a blanket in the cubby under the ottoman and lie down on the couch.
    What did I just
do? I slept with Jared's brother and I slept with Tawny. Tawny, who is like
another member of our small town family. Tawny, who sleeps with men and women
for a living. Tawny, who I'm not even remotely interested in.
    I want Scott.
    After seeing
and... feeling what he can do to me, I know I have to keep my distance. In one
night he had me doing something I never imagined doing before. I didn’t want to
have sex with Tawny, but he made her look desirable. Scott wanting me to fuck
Tawny made me want to fuck Tawny. If I stick with him I'll be doing ecstasy
while in the middle of a group orgy before I leave to go back home.
    I just need to go
to sleep and forget this happened. Tomorrow, everything will go back to normal
and I can start looking at Scott as Jared's brother and not the man I have an
unhealthy hunger for.

    Chapter Five

    "Why the fuck
are you on my couch?"
    My eyes flutter
open and I'm visually assaulted with an exquisite, freshly showered Jared. When
my sister told me a few months ago that he had shaved his head after a period
of reevaluating his life, I thought he had forever destroyed his good looks by
chopping off his gorgeous locks of hair.
    Then she sent me a
picture.
    Somehow, even
though I never thought it could be possible, he looks even better than he did
before.  Even though I no longer look at him as the sex fantasy in my
dreams, it's impossible to ignore the looks God blessed him with. My eyes drift
over his arms exposing just some of the ink that covers his entire body.
    "What time is
it?" I ask groggily. My hands move to rub my eyes, attempting to wipe some
of the sleep away.
    "A little
after nine. I came down to make Autumn a cup of coffee. Why aren't you in
bed?"
    Shit.
    "I...
umm," spit it out, Winnie .
    "Scott's in
there. He must have crashed while the party was still going on. When I went to
go to bed he was already passed out, so I came back in here and slept on the
couch."
    "Sure
thing." Jared smiles and reaches up to ruffle my hair. "Do you want a
cup of coffee?"
    "Please."
    I follow Jared
into the kitchen and watch him as he makes both of us a cup of coffee. We drink
our coffee in silence and as the seconds tick by I'm more and more worried that
Jared might put something together. What he'll piece together, I don't know.
It's not like I have the words "I screwed your brother" written
across my forehead.
    "You don't
work today?" I ask, trying to find something to talk about.
    "Nope. That's
the nice thing about the porn industry. If I don't want to film today, then we
don't film. Have you seen Tawny? I think she had an early photo shoot
today."
    "Tawny? Why
would I have seen Tawny? I just woke up." My mind is racing with a
thousand different thoughts and my palms start to sweat.
    "Stop acting
like a nutcase. All I meant is, do you know if she stayed here last
night?"
    Hmm. I actually
don't know where she stayed. All I know is she wasn't in the guest room when I
woke up, but I can't share those details with Jared.
    "Nope. I have
no idea."
    "Oh, well,
not my problem."
    My coffee tastes
like heaven right now. The only thing missing is two aspirin to cure me of this
morning hangover headache, and maybe a time machine so I can go back to
twenty-four hours ago and start the day over.
    What will I say to
Scott when he
