strokes. And when he cried out with desire, I knew he was close. I then sucked on just the head.
â€œFuck!” He banged the wall behind him and pounded into my mouth.
With me working him, he only lasted a few minutes, but I knew that wasn’t a statement about his stamina. I was just that good. Hot liquid spurted into my throat. He wound his hips back and forth, giving it all to me. When he finished, I swallowed down every last drop of his delicious cum. He slumped down to the ground as if drained of energy. His pants rested at his ankles. I rose and took a mental picture of him, wishing I had artificial eyes like him to take real pictures to look back later on the memory.
The dirty motel wall supported all six-foot-whatever of his solid muscle. His hands hung limply at his sides. His head tilted back with his full lips parted slightly and his eyes were firmly shut. His semi-hard dick glistened with my saliva. I liked what I saw, and a small part of me craved to keep him for a little while longer.
But no, it isn’t meant to be.
I learned a long time ago that a man like Epic couldn’t be trusted in the long run. He would one day yearn to control me—own me—and I wasn’t the type of woman who would let either happen to her. I was almost owned once, and it had nearly killed me, but instead it ended up killing him. I shook my head. I didn’t need to think about Teddy now or ever.
â€œTime for you to leave,” I stated with no emotion.
Epic’s eyes snapped open with surprise. “What do you mean ‘time to leave’?”
â€œWhat were you expecting? For me to want to cuddle with you afterward?”
    â€œMaybe not cuddle, but—”
â€œWhat? Dinner and a movie? Or maybe you figured you’d talk to me for an hour or so and then fuck me on that crappy bed over there?” I quirked an eyebrow at him. “In case you haven’t noticed, I’m not really that type of girl.”
â€œWow. Whoever it was did a real number on you.”
â€œNo one did a number on me.”
â€œSomeone hurt you so bad you won’t give yourself a chance to get to know me.”
    â€œWhat?” Am I that transparent?
â€œYou sucked my dick and then tried to kick me out before I could even say thank you or yes, ask you if you wanted to do something or grab something to eat.”
â€œI’m not hungry and I don’t do movies.”
    â€œThat’s not the point.”
â€œSave it for someone who wants to listen.”
â€œThen fine, never mind,” Epic muttered under his breath. “None of my business anyway. I guess I should at least say thanks or something.”
â€œThe pleasure was all mine. Maybe you’ll earn another session in the future.”
He ran his fingers through his hair and rose, yanking his pants up. He stuffed himself back in his jeans and zipped up. “You’re crazy and pure trouble.”
â€œYeah, but the good kind of trouble.”
â€œI haven’t decided that part yet.” Epic studied my face, making me grow uncomfortable under his scrutiny. His eyes glowed white and I wondered what that emotion meant. “You’re really an amazing woman. From the moment you stole from me, you’ve had me second guessing every step I make, while my dick is hard for you.”
â€œGoodnight, Epic. I’ll let you know about the job tomorrow evening, maybe,” I said, trying to hurry along his departure. I couldn’t deal with him being in my room any longer, I might do something stupid, like ask him to cuddle or something. Of course after I fucked his brains out . . . probably several times.
He turned to face the door and then glanced over his shoulder at me. “Why the tattoo, the whole phoenix flying out of the fire?”
    â€œWhy?”
â€œI had a dream about it.”
    I grinned.
â€œDon’t get crazy. The dream wasn’t all about you.”
    I frowned
