aside.
He wagged his finger. “Huh-uh. All of it.”
    “I’m not hungry.”
“Jacquelyn, it’s been a full twenty-four hours since that tiny bite of lasagna you had on the ship. Eat all of it.”
She rolled her eyes and put the plate back on her lap. “Yeah. Wouldn’t want your prisoner collapsing from hunger. How would that make you look?”
Haydrien sat back and crossed his legs. “I see our little session earlier did nothing to curb that tongue of yours.”
“So what?” she grumbled around her bite. “Are you going to tie me up and do it again?”
    “Maybe,” he murmured.
Jack swallowed and tilted her head to look at him. She didn’t say anything this time, just resumed eating. Once done, she took a sip of the drink he handed her and set it back on the table.
She coughed softly and frowned at him. “Does that have alcohol in it?”
    He nodded.
Without taking her gaze off his as though in some sort of silent challenge, she raised the glass and downed the whole thing in one gulp. Haydrien lifted an eyebrow, and his lips twitched in amusement. “You may regret that.”
About the time he said it, her eyes widened, and she coughed, almost choking. That much of the drink all at once was probably burning her insides about now. She winced and put her hand over her stomach. He watched as she drew in two deep breaths, then turned to glare at him.
“Don’t glare at me. I’m not the one who downed it in one gulp.”
She twisted her lips and stood. Haydrien let his gaze travel down the white dress that Gora had given her. It looked good on her, highlighting her hourglass figure and firm, high breasts. The color even looked good. He frowned, wondering if Gora had chosen that dress on purpose.
The setting sun shone through the material, outlining her thighs and hips, and his cock reacted instantly.
“You can leave now,” she said as she picked up the plate and handed it to him.
Haydrien stood and took the plate from her. He set it on his seat, then took a menacing step toward her. If she wanted another punishment, so be it.

Chapter Ten
Jack didn’t like the sudden lustful light that shone in his eyes. She took a step back, wishing she could remember to keep her mouth shut. Haydrien advanced, and she stopped, realizing there was nowhere for her to run. She couldn’t get around him, and she certainly couldn’t fight him.
He grabbed her forearm and tugged her toward him. With his hands at her waist, he turned them both so her back was to the table. He lifted her, catching her by surprise and making her gasp as her ass hit the tabletop behind her.
“Lie back,” he commanded in a rough voice.
She did as he demanded. The cool table felt good against her back and arms, but all comfort faded when Haydrien hiked up her skirt, exposing her pussy. She tried to push it back down, but he grasped her hands and held them tight.
    “Don’t make me tie you.”
She froze and stared into his dark eyes. The hungry look in them made every nerve in her body tingle with awareness and heat. He let go of her hand and grabbed her calves, pushing them forward.
    “Hold your knees,” he said.
Jack grabbed her shins, just below her knees. Haydrien grasped her hips and pulled her closer to the edge of the table. She held her breath, hoping she didn’t fall. Her ass hung precariously off the edge. She pressed the small of her back against the table, trying to keep herself from toppling forward.
What the hell was he doing? She hoped he wasn’t going to do what she thought he was. His face between her legs wasn’t something she thought she could handle right now.
“Pull them back farther,” he commanded.
Jack tugged at her knees, lifting her butt.
    “Wider.”
Jack swallowed and allowed her knees to move outward.
    “Perfect,” Haydrien murmured.
He smoothed his hand over her mound, and Jack closed her eyes tight. He kept his touch light, his fingers slow and gentle as they moved around to her hip. Without
