what
the message meant.
Tae had something planned for tonight. Something that would
have her on her knees. Hopefully with something shoved up her ass.
That had come as a surprise, her growing craving for butt
play. Tae, as accommodating as he was, was more than willing to satisfy.
Molly leaned over to read the card and Bella chuckled and
pulled it back. No. It wouldn’t do to have her employees discovering her dark
secret.
“Thank you, Molly,” she said, meaningfully closing the door.
When she was alone, she rushed to the phone. Hell. He’d sent the flowers this
morning. It was well past two.
Call me meant call me now. Not call me when
you get around to it . Shit. He was going to be pissed.
A thrill shot through her at the thought.
As she waited for her cellphone to make the connection, she
fingered the leather choker he’d laid out for her to wear this morning. She
should have known. She should have known something was coming. The choker,
while perfectly respectable office wear, looked and felt too much like a collar
to be misconstrued. Especially for someone like her.
    She should have realized—
Her heart lurched as his deep voice flooded the line.
“Hello?”
“Tae, darling. I love the flowers.”
There was a long pause. “Did they just arrive?”
Bella cleared her throat. “No. I was in a meeting.”
    “I see.”
“I-I called as soon as I got them.”
Another pause. Bella trembled. She swallowed. The choker
tightened around her throat.
    Oh hell.
“You do realize that’s not acceptable?” There was something
strange, something constrained about his voice.
    “Tae… Is everything okay?”
    “I’m in a meeting.”
    “I’m sorry. I’ll call back.”
“No. You’re already late. Hang on a second.” He murmured
something and shuffled some papers. The tone of the buzz on the line changed
and then he was back. “So. Bella. What are we going to do about this
infraction?”
“Are you still in your meeting?”
“No. I’m in the hallway. And quit trying to change the
subject. You got a specific command from your Master and you failed to comply.”
    “I just got them.”
He snorted. “That hardly matters. From now on, when you get
a message from me, Molly is to bring it to you immediately. Is that clear?”
    “Yes, Tae.”
    “I beg your pardon?”
Bella froze. Her belly flip-flopped. A sudden thrill gushed
through her. It was so odd, so unnatural for her to be submissive here, in her
office. Where she ruled with an iron fist. Somehow calling him Master here made her feel even more subservient, uncomfortably so. Apparently this sedition
laced her response. “Yes Master .”
“You know, I don’t think I like your tone. You don’t sound
very deferential.”
    “I’m sorry—”
“In fact, you sounded a little sardonic.”
    “No. I—”
“Did you just tell me no?”
She opened her mouth to respond but he continued.
“Whoo, baby. I think we better not wait ’til tonight. We
need to begin right now.”
“Right now?” she squeaked. “Tae, I’m working .”
He sighed. “Really, slave. You’re just compounding the
situation. You know better than to call me by name.”
    “I’m sorry. But—”
“No buts. Well, maybe later.” He chuckled at his joke. “For
the time being, you’d better behave. Follow my directions exactly. And call me
Master or Sir. Do you understand?”
    “Yes Sir.”
    “That’s better. Are you ready?”
She sighed loudly enough for him to hear.
“All right. Take one of the roses—careful of the thorns—and
your cell phone, and go to the bathroom.”
“The bathroom?” The bathroom was so…public.
    “Bella…”
“Okay.” She readjusted her Bluetooth in her ear, pulled one
rose from the bouquet and headed down the hall, nodding at her coworkers as she
passed. She pushed open the door to the ladies’ room and was mortified to see
two of her employees chatting at the sink.
    “Are you there?”
    “Yes.”
    “Are you
