alone?”
    “No.”
“Excellent.” She hated the evil chortle in his voice. “Go
into one of the stalls.”
“Yes. That is done.” She winced as her words echoed through
the room.
    “Okay. Lift up your skirt.”
    “Mmm hmm.”
    “Pull down your panties.”
    “Okay.”
“Stroke your slit with the rose.”
Oh lord. She lowered the velvet petals to her pussy
and did as he asked. The rose was silky and soft and lapped at her like a
tongue. Heat slashed through her. What she was doing—in public—was so
damn…illicit. She forced herself to be mindful of where she was. It wouldn’t do
to moan in ecstasy and call him Master…with Sue and Linda listening in. It was
a challenge to remain grounded in the real world when the fantasy they were creating
was so much more alluring.
She cleared her throat. “Yes Sir, we have completed that
task.”
    He chuckled. “Are you wet?”
    “Absolutely.”
Suddenly, he sounded breathless. “Okay. Do it again.”
    “Yes Sir.”
    A strangled groan.
“Ah, baby. I wish I were there.”
    “Yes Sir. I agree.”
His growl rumbled through the phone. “Hell. Enough of this.
Pull your panties up.”
    “Yes Sir.”
“No. Not just up. Pull them all the way up. I want them
jammed into your slit, rubbing against your clit for the rest of the day. I
want you thinking about how hot, how wet you are until five. I want you panting
by the time you get home. Do you understand?”
    “Yes Sir.”
    “And don’t touch yourself.”
    “What?”
“You heard me. Don’t you dare touch yourself. Not until I
get home. Do you understand?”
    “Yes.”
“Yes, what?” Oh. He was an evil, evil man.
Bella could hear her employees chatting just over the wall.
She gritted her teeth. “Yes Sir.”
“Very nice. But don’t think I’ve forgotten your punishment.”
“What exactly did you have in mind?” Not that she wanted to
know. But she did.
He laughed. “You’re making me dinner.”
“What?” She wasn’t exactly handy in the kitchen. He knew that. The only kitchen implement she even knew where to find was that slotted
spatula.
“Now, now Bella, don’t sound so panicked. Go back to your
office. I’ll dictate a shopping list.”
She tried not to laugh at the way he said dictate .
She exited the bathroom, making it a point to catch and hold
the eyes of her employees. Her expression was clear. It said, Why are you
dawdling in the bathroom? They scattered.
When she got back to her office, she closed the door again
and grabbed a pad and pencil. “Okay. I’m ready.”
“Are you?” His voice thrummed over the line.
“Yes.” And then as an afterthought, “Sir.”
“Okay. Pick up some carrots and celery, onions and beef
chunks. Some potatoes, vegetable oil, merlot, sour cream—”
    “Sour cream?”
“For the sauce. Don’t interrupt. You should also get
Worcestershire sauce, cream cheese, oh, and I need a new toothbrush.”
Bella’s brow wrinkled. This was starting to sound like a
grocery list. Not a sex list. He knew she hated grocery shopping. “A new
toothbrush?”
“Yeah. You know the kind I like, the electric ones?”
    “Yeah. Sure.”
“Great. Oh. And I think we’re out of bread.”
Blech. It was a shopping list. “Do you really
have anything planned for tonight or is this just a very transparent attempt to domesticate me?” She spat the word but Tae just laughed.
“Baby,” he said. “I knew who you were when I married you. I
don’t want to change a damn thing about you.”
    “Really?”
“Really. I love you, just the way you are.”
    “You do?”
He chuckled. “Yep. Don’t you see? If you were domesticated,
this wouldn’t be half as much fun.”
    * * * * *
Bella picked up all the stupid items on his stupid list and
made it home by five, juggling the bags and her flowers in her arms. She was
impatient and annoyed and starting to suspect that, despite his placating
words, he was going to try to make her cook dinner.
