so did Stone.
âSee how easy that was?â Gala said.
âI am astonished,â Stone replied.
âNow, you move over to the center of the bed, and leave room for her on the other side of you.â
Stone complied.
Shortly, there was a soft knock on the door.
âCome in,â Gala called.
Felicity entered the room, came over to the bed, and kissed, first Stone, then Gala.
âUse my dressing room,â Gala said, pointing. âThereâs a dressing gown, if you need one.â
âI donât think I will need it,â Felicity said, heading for the dressing room. She emerged shortly and got into bed next to Stone. Everyone kissed, then, as if by plan, the two women concentrated on Stone, who received the attention with alacrity.
Then they turned their attention to each other, while Stone watched and offered the occasional caress.
When they had satisfied each other and given Stone time to recover, they received him in turn, while the other watched and helped.
Then, exhausted, they all fell asleep.
â
T he following morning, they repeated the experience, with variations. Then, while the two women showered together, Stone ordered breakfast and joined them, until the food arrived.
â
F ollowing breakfast, they returned custody of Felicity to Geoffrey, who returned her to the dock.
âOh, Iâd better go and have a look at her boat,â Stone said.
âDonât bother,â Felicity replied. âIâm sure it will start immediately.â
They both laughed.
âNow,â Gala said when Felicity had departed, âwas that a satisfactory experience?â
âEntirely satisfactory,â Stone said, kissing her.
âIt could happen again,â Gala said, âwith Felicity or some other suitable woman.â
âHow will I know when?â
âIâll be sure and let you know. Just place yourself in my hands, so to speak.â
âI rather enjoy being in your hands, so to speak.â

S tone was settling into the study to get some work done when Gala came in. âWould you mind terribly if I missed lunch with you today? Iâd like to run up to London and get some shopping done.â
âOf course, go right ahead. Iâll give you a car.â
âIâd rather take the train, if someone will give me a lift to Southampton station.â
Stone lifted a phone and spoke to Geoffrey, then hung up. âThe car will be out front in five minutes. Get Geoffreyâs number and let him know on what train youâre returning, and heâll meet you at the station.â
She kissed him and departed.
Stone worked until early afternoon, having a sandwich in the library for lunch, then, as New York began its day, began receiving calls. Joan was first.
âWeâre still alive and well here,â she said.
âGood. I think you can dismiss Mikeâs men. I have reason to believe that Tirov has left the city.â
âWill do.â
Bob Cantor called next. âIâve made some refinements to my tracking software,â he said. He gave Stone instructions on reloading the software. âThere,â he said. âWould you like to add any other numbers to be tracked?â
Stone thought about it, then gave Bob Galaâs new number.
âGreat, youâre all set. Iâve assigned the color yellow to her phone, to make it easier to distinguish it. If you want to add any other phones, youâll be given a choice of colors.â
âThanks, Bob.â He hung up, then switched on the phone and checked for Gala. He picked up a yellow dot in the Savile Row area of London, and by zooming in, he was able to identify the location of Cecconiâs, a restaurant. Then, to his surprise, a green dot appeared on the screen at the same location, but slightly apart from the yellow. He called Galaâs number.
âHello?â
âHi, where are you?â
âIâm at Cecconiâs, having
