teeth. I did as he asked, gasping as my back hit the cold table. “You won’t be needing these either.” The smirk in his voice was obvious as he gently pulled my panties down my legs. His hands caressed my feet first, then moved up to my calves. I was an overheated mess, and he hadn’t even really touched me yet. Gazing up at the chandelier, I tried not to think about how hot this was. When I felt Oliver spread something over my nipples, I looked down to see that it was chocolate.
“ Mmm, chocolate covered nipples—my favorite,” he teased, pulling me down the table so he could latch his mouth onto one of my yearning peaks. I had no idea how long he continued his torture, but my breasts were licked clean by the time he was done. “How about a little sweetness next?” he asked, squirting some syrup into his hand. I thought he was going to put it over my chest again, but when his hands slipped between my already slick folds, gently massaging the syrup against my clit, I couldn’t control my moans. I knew what was coming next, and my legs opened wider at just the thought.
“This is what I call dessert,” he murmured, taking a seat right in front of me. He threw my legs over his shoulders and began to lick my slick folds greedily. “Shit, Jade, you taste so good like this. And those heels…damn, I need to make you keep your shoes on more often,” he mumbled into my sex, sucking my clit into his mouth. I gripped his hair, rocking against the pleasure he was causing within me before giving up and letting his tongue take me over. I was a slave to his touch.

“What’s with the goofy grin?” I giggled the next morning. Oliver and I were still in bed, and were running late for work.
“Yesterday was the best birthday I’ve ever had. Thank you.”
“It’s a shame you were working, though. I really wanted to take you away.”
“You can do that next year,” he beamed, pecking my lips. I fought to keep the smile on my face, knowing that I wouldn’t be with him on his next birthday. “Come on, you can’t be late. I heard the boss can be a real asshole on his employees’ last day if they’re late.”
“Actually, I don’t think the boss could ever be an asshole. He might be an ass man , though,” I teased, getting out of bed and wiggling my butt in his direction.
“If we’re talking about your ass, then yes, I think he is.” He stretched out, smacking my butt. “Now go and have your shower. I’ll join you in a minute and wash your back.” Playful Oliver. I loved him.
I was solemn for most of the day, knowing that Alicia would be back on Monday and doing her best to make my life a living hell. Oliver wasn’t much better. He was agitated, barking orders at some of his staff. It wasn’t like him.
“Here’s that report you asked for,” I sighed toward the end of the afternoon. “Is there anything else you needed before I start to clear my desk?”
“You’re clearing your desk,” he pouted.
“I need to. It will be Alicia’s again on Monday.”
“All these years, I never thought I’d want to work with my partner. When you walked into my life, you changed all that.”
“It might be healthier for us. Time apart isn’t a bad thing. It’s only a few hours a day.”
“It’s not a few hours, Jade. It’s half the damn day. Sometimes longer.”
    “I distract you.”
“Yes, but in a good way,” he smirked.
“You don’t need distractions right now. You’ve got a lot of decisions to make, and I can meet you for lunch whenever you want. It will be fine.” He sighed deeply but nodded. I slid onto his lap, taking him by surprise. “We’ve had the most amazing time. I’ve loved working with you, but you knew this wasn’t going to be permanent.”
“I know,” he sighed, wrapping his arms around me. “I love you, Jade. I have this deep longing inside me to keep you close. That’s all.”
“I am close. I’m not going anywhere,” I lied, closing my eyes as I leaned
