from her face.
“We’ve decided to keep you.” He watched her face intently as though trying to gauge her reaction.
    “Don’t scare her off,
Rio.” Clay stepped into the room with a cup of coffee in each hand. He eyed her tenderly but she could feel his scrutiny as though trying to see how
Rio’s declaration affected her.
“Have some coffee, baby.” He leaned over for a tender but possessive kiss, his tongue sweeping her mouth before he straightened and handed her a cup.
Jesse felt like a queen, being fussed over like this. “I don’t think I’ve ever been served coffee in bed before.” She grinned at both of them. “I could get spoiled.”
“If you stay with us darlin’, we’ll spoil you rotten.”
Rio grinned at her.
    “
Rio, if you scare her off, I’m gonna kick your ass.” Clay’s said softly but with a warning bite. He turned to Jesse.
“We have a lot to do today. Finish your coffee and get ready to go. We’ll grab breakfast in town.”
“Where are we going?” Jesse sipped her coffee, surprised to find it exactly the way she liked it. She had thought that Clay and
Rio would want to stay in bed this morning, but they both seemed to be in a hurry to go out. Excitement lit their eyes and she hoped it had something to do with her. She could get used to the feeling of being wanted.
She reluctantly reined in her thoughts. She couldn’t stay. She couldn’t live here happily knowing she had left Kelly defenseless.
Determined not to let anything spoil her time with Clay and
Rio, she slid naked from the bed, carrying her coffee with her to the bathroom.
“I’ll be ready in twenty minutes,” she tossed over her shoulder. She shook her head when she caught them both looking at her ass.

    * * * *

Breakfast at the diner with Clay and
Rio taught her a lot about the town, and them.
The diner seemed to be more like a family gathering than the diners she had eaten in back home. Everyone seemed to know everyone else and laughter filled the room.
She and the waitress, Gracie were introduced and she couldn’t help but be surprised to learn that the three men in the kitchen were Gracie’s husbands. Three husbands!
Of course everyone knew Clay and
Rio and greeted them warmly. Jesse found herself introduced to several of Clay and
Rio’s friends and neighbors. Most smiled indulgently when they saw how both men acted with her, touching her, keeping her close, their eyes tender as they smiled at her.
To her surprise, Jake and Nat joined them. Glancing at Clay and
Rio she saw that both had been expecting them.
“We’re spending the day at the spa!” Nat told her as soon as she sat down.
“What are you talking about, Nat?” Jesse accepted the toast
Rio had buttered for her while Clay refilled her coffee cup.
“There’s a wonderful day spa at the end of town,” Nat told her excitedly. “We’re spending the day there.”
Jesse shook her head, hating to disappoint her sister. “I can’t afford something like that, Nat.”
“We’re paying for it, baby.” Clay sipped his coffee. “Don’t worry about it.”
He resumed eating while Jesse sputtered. “What? You’re not paying for anything!” She rounded on
Rio as he opened his mouth to speak. “I’m not going to a spa. That’s final!”
Several heads turned at her outburst and Jesse saw that several of their friends had turned to look at Clay and
Rio. She dropped her head and hissed at them. “If you don’t want me around, that’s fine!”
She cursed the tremor in her voice and squirmed when both Clay and
Rio sat up straighter and looked at her.
Jesse bit her lip as she gathered her things. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. Of course they wanted to get rid of her, otherwise they would have kept her at their house with them.
“I have things to do today anyway. Maybe I’ll see you around.”
She stood and found herself immediately surrounded by two very large, very angry men.
“Sit down, Jesse.” Clay’s hand on her arm
