the fan.
He had a few minutes alone then opened the door and headed to the main suite. The teams would be assembled there. He always needed his own room. He needed time to clear his head before every strike. Some needed to smoke a cigarette, others needed black coffee, and some threw up. Everyone handled the danger they were facing differently.
In order for Dominic’s plan to work, all personnel had to hold up in the hotel for over two days, allowing Chad to infiltrate the brothel, which he did brilliantly.
The double doors to the main suite were wide open. His inspector sat on one large, winged chair checking a tablet. The computer teams wasted no time setting up shop. Communication was the ultimate key in every strike.
He stood in the middle of the room. “Are we ready for tomorrow?” he said, looking at the face of every agent in the room.
    “Yes,” answered his inspector.
“Then ladies and gentlemen, good luck and God Damn it, use your heads. I want this strike to come down without the loss of any human life. He’s desperate, I’m sure. He knows he’s going to be surrounded, and soon. Chad has done an amazing job  providing us with names, what weapons Ty’s equipped with, and the layout of the inside of the brothel ins such a short period of time.
We’re within walking distance of the whorehouse. We’ll leave in pairs. Make sure your earplugs are clear and working. Test them now, everyone. Each of you has a password. Use it. The main computers have voice recognition and all of your passwords. If one isn’t transmitted, we’ll know immediately. I’m not losing agents. This should be routine. Most of you will be dressed in street clothes at my request. Too many suits walking the streets would definitely draw attention. Make sure your chest protectors are secure. They will stop a bullet. ”
Dominic was almost finished with what he had to say and leaned against the large fireplace in the suite. “Are there any questions?”
One of the agents on the computers waved his finger slowly. “I have one. What do you want us to do if we lose contact with any one of you? Right now I can see everyone.”
Dominic answered. “Every agent has a number. I’ll need that number.  Let me know verbally. I will then know every agent’s number and name. I’ll take it from there; I want no casualties or missing agents.”
The room went silent. Dominic waited a few minutes more as he checked the faces of the teams before him, trying to memorize each face. “I guess question and answer time is over.” He smiled. “I have worked with many of you before, and I intend to again,” he said, checking his watch.
They’d wait until dawn when there would be less people on the roads and in the streets. Perhaps they’d catch most of them in the brothel asleep. Dominic was sure a few of them would sleep tonight. The room emptied. Now they’d wait.
He never needed to ask if his teams were ready. Before the sun rose, he had the teams assembled one last time, making sure everyone wore their body armor. Two by two, they left the hotel on foot. The snipers and special teams were in position all night, waiting and watching. It was his turn to leave. He had Webster stay behind with him. His inspector turned to him, “You two are next. Good luck.”
“Ready?” Dominic asked. “Yes,” she said, putting her Glock G26 in her shoulder holster.
Dominic checked his own Glock G21, a full size version of her more compact one, and secured it in his shoulder holster. “Let’s go,” he said, letting her leave before him. His inspector watched. “Don’t worry. She’s with me.”
“I’m not worried about any of you. That piss head is going down.”
Sharp shooters positioned; local police ready, and the FBI backing the marshals. Daylight peeked through the clouds, the sun rising slowly as everyone waited. Dominic gripped his radio, waiting for the precise moment to let everyone move in. You hear every breath, so steady and
