really mentioned Amelia to anyone but Blue (because they could both talk to her), so bringing this up at the breakfast table was ridiculous.
'Amelia said he didn’t see her, but he was there. As if he were looking for someone, he couldn’t find whoever it was and then just faded away. Blue I don’t know if it was something to do with you, but Amelia seems to think so. She thinks it's something big, something ancient, a prophecy. There have been a lot of ghosts interacting with her recently, lots of whispers. Has she spoken to you?'
Blue sat there the words sinking in, 'Ancient, Prophecy?' she just sat looking puzzled,
'No she hasn't spoken to me. In ages, since I became a Vampyre.' She paused, contemplating.

Cleo pitched in changing the subject.
'I’ve decided I’m going to move with Valentino and the boys back to Italy. I’m going to make a proper go of it, this is my life now. The agency has pushed me too far, they have asked for more than they should have ever done. So fuck them, fuck the agency.'
This was a welcome distraction for Blue, moved away from the questions running though her mind of prophecies.
'Fuck the agency? What about what they still want you to do?' Blue asked.
'I’ve not really thought it through.' Replied Cleo, 'I know I need to disappear from the agency, I can't kill my family.' She started crying, she couldn't keep up her emotionless exterior. 'I need Valentino and the boys with me, I can't do this any more. I don't want to kill people any more. If he moves out of the spot light, pretends that he isn't in the Mafia. Get a stand in for a bit, take a break and work on us.'
'Doesn't he know about the agency?' Eliza asked naively.
'Of course he doesn’t fucking know about the fucking agency!' Cleo shrieked and added with venom, 'If he knew I was in the agency do you think for one second that I would still be alive?!? Or that he would have married me and had my children?'
She looked a little frazzled around the edges, one question had pushed her from sobbing into a hysterical rage.
'I’m sorry Cleo, I didn’t think that through.' Eliza moved over to comfort her, as she got there Cleo broke down. She fell to the floor, she had realised the full weight of all that was in the balance and it had been overwhelming. All the girls rushed in to hold her. Star told her,
'Sweetie it’s okay. It’s okay. It will be alright. You need Valentino, I’ll make the arrangements. I’ll talk to him, tell him you were kidnapped by the agency and tortured. I’ll tell him they’ve threatened you, that they want you to find out about him and tell them all you can or they’ll kill your children. He’ll believe that. He knows what they’re capable of. He’ll not suspect you at all. You’ll be on one of my planes in his arms by the end of the day. You’ll be in Italy by tomorrow at the latest.' Star knew she could make it happen, so she got right on it.

Chapter Seven.

The Oracle was an innocent looking old Chinese lady. She was warm, welcoming, petite, frail and she had a fragility to her, you would trust her with your life as soon as look at her. Appearances, however, can be quite deceiving.

The Oracle has been a little old lady since Daen turned her, over a thousand years ago. She came from the Himalayas – Tibet to be exact. He had found her out after hearing so much about her fortune telling, he had travelled far and had heard about her in India, The Middle East, even in his adopted home town Rome. He had heard about the Oracle who lives in the big mountains, so he went to find her for himself.

Her weak and feeble appearance has eluded everyone’s better judgement. She is more dangerous than you could ever imagine, even Daen doesn't know her true potential. He underestimates her. She knows far more than she ever lets on, even to Daen, her creator. She manipulates his every move and he doesn’t even realise she’s doing it.

    'Daen.' She whispered over.
    She was
