heaving. “Harder. I need it.”
So did Quill. He wasn’t going to last much longer, the speed and roughness of his rhythm enough to topple him in another few nanoseconds. But he was taking the wolf with him. Quill groped for Kienan’s cock, relentlessly working it in time with his thrusts.
â€œI need to come,” Kienan grunted. Desperation reflected on the man’s face, his normal stoicism dropping away.
â€œThen come.” Quill’s muscles drew taut, impending orgasm gripping him tight. “Come now.”
Kienan’s back bowed, an animalistic howl ripping loose from his throat, and come spurted from his cock, bubbling between Quill’s fingers as he continued to stroke the wolf through his orgasm. Letting go of his own control, he exploded inside of Kienan’s tight ass, ecstasy rushing through his body as he hammered out his climax inside the other man. A long groan spilled from him and he slammed deep one last time, froze, and shuddered.
They stayed that way for long moments, and only the ragged sound of their breathing broke the silence in the room. When Quill’s heart slowed from its racing beat, his sigh tangled with a purr. A smug grin curved his mouth. In terms of sex, the last twenty-four hours had been superb. The wolf looked a little dazed, just as he had the night before after Gea had sucked him off. There was nothing innocent about this man, but somehow the sex seemed to have surprised him. It was good to know that Quill wasn’t the only one experiencing this level of intensity.
Slipping backward on his knees, he slid his cock out of Kienan. “You all right?”
â€œYeah.” The wolf-shifter blinked, his gaze coming back into focus, his expression going inscrutable. “You?”
â€œNever better.” Quill’s grin spread. It was a little late for the other man to pretend he was impervious and unaffected by what they’d done, but Quill wasn’t going to call him on it. He knew the truth, and so did Kienan. “Shower?”
Kienan nodded and crawled to his feet, leading the way into the wash closet, and Quill licked his lips as he watched the other man’s ass flex as he walked. Prime-grade muscles there. He definitely wanted to get his hands on that again.
â€œSo, how long are you going to be in town?” Whatever time there was, Quill was going to take advantage of it. It might help distract him from his irritation over the fact that Gea had bolted again. That it bordered perilously close to anger just irritated him more. It was a kick to the gut and the ego that she ran, even though it shouldn’t bother him. With any other lover, he didn’t think it would. Clamping down on that dangerous thought, he focused on the lover before him.
The wolf glanced back, the lines of his face somber as death.
â€œWhat?” Quill asked, reaching around him to start the shower’s spray.
Shrugging, the wolf stepped under the blast of water. “So, you came here last night to offer Lorelei a business proposition, is that right?”
Wariness slid through Quill. Where was this question coming from? His business and his sexual affairs were things that he never mixed. Ever. “Yes. Why?”
â€œJust curious. What kind of business offer was it?” Droplets slipped down Kienan’s face as he stepped aside to let Quill get under the spray. “Or is that confidential?”
Something in Quill wanted to trust this man, and that sent a hint of panic through him. He trusted no one, not really. It was safer that way. He let water sluice down his body before he answered. “It’s not confidential, but I don’t make a habit of discussing business with strangers.”
    â€œJust fucking them?”
â€œTouché.” He let a small smile touch his lips. Dealing with the people he did made him justifiably paranoid about being a target for industrial espionage or insider trading, so he
