staying in room 724. He’s not scheduled to check out until two days from now.”
The young lady smiled as she took the bribe and tucked it in the top pocket of her hotel issued white blouse.
“Is there anything else your friend Ben wants to know?” She grinned slyly.
I stood up straight. “No. But he appreciates all your help. You have a good day and don’t work too hard. Tell your manager they don’t pay you enough. I think you deserve a raise.”
I navigated my way through the sparse crowd of people in the lobby and ended my trek by hopping back into the driver’s seat of my car. I adjusted my ass in the seat and pulled a pack of Skittles out of the center console. Angelique shook her head and turned her palm up.
“Oh shit, you’re eatin’ Skittles. What the fuck happened in there? Lemme have some.” She looked at me.
I poured several colorful pebbles in her open hand. “Jax is stayin’ in room 724 and the Julia Roberts knock off is up there with him.”
Angelique popped a green candy in her mouth and started smacking her shimmery lips.
“So what do you wanna do?” She looked over at me.
I looked at the front of the hotel, and then I put a few candies in my mouth.
“Call Sway, tell him to come down here now and bring the GPS tracker. I need you to show him Rachael’s car so he can hook it up.”
“Ok, what about you? What are you gonna do?”
I grinned. “I’ ma give Jax some room service.”

~Flies

Tyce had me doing research about that underground jewelry show. It was fluff work. It took me less than four hours to find out the location, time, and about how many people would be in attendance. I was doing homework while he was hanging out with his baby mama. I was at home pissed off with the phone in my hand. A part of me wanted to call him right then, but I stopped myself.  Although I wasn’t okay with him spending so much time around Angelique, I was not about to let them know that. Being insecure was the fastest way to turn your man off. Tyce was not about to have ill feelings about me while he was out with his ex.
I kne w that I was engaged to a very sexy man. Shit that was one of the things I loved about him. But damn, does every thirsty bitch in California want a sip of him or what? Not only did I have to look the other way when it came to Quiana, but I had to work with bitter ass Angelique. Those bitches were like flies at a barbeque. They were getting on my fucking nerves always buzzing around my man. When the job was over, I planned on using my hand like a fly swatter and slapping the shit out of those lonely hoes.

~Get Out

Angelique whipped Tyce’s Benz around a corner and rolled slowly down the dim aisle of the underground parking garage. About a hundred feet into her leisurely drive, she spotted the baby blue Bentley parked in a corner spot. The space next to it was empty, so she slid the car into the space and turned the engine off. She grabbed the pack of cigarettes from the passenger seat, fished out a lighter from the side pocket of her purse, but ceased her pre smoking actions instantly when a woman appeared at her window. She immediately locked the doors before Rachael could grab the handle. The two women stared at each other for a brief identifying second.
“How cute, you locked your doors thinking that’s going to keep you safe. You silly bitch.” Rachael stared down at Angelique from outside the rolled up window. “You think I didn’t notice you following me here? Where’s Tyce at?”
Angelique glared at the gorgeous evil spirited Caucasian woman through the tinted glass. Long red curly locks of h air framed her small face as her thin lips parted into a sinister smile.
Angelique pointed at her casually. “You must be Rachael. I see Jax has a thing for snowflakes. You might wanna take some Tylenol for that case of jungle fever you got there.”
Rachael huffed as she raised her gun toting hand and took a step back pointing it at the
