help but call out as he let go of her hips and slid her hands up to her breasts, his thumbs flicking over her nipples through the fabric of her dress and bra.
“I’d love to take these off,” Gabriel told her, making her moan again. “Then I could have those sweet nipples in my mouth. You like it when I take your nipples into my mouth, don’t you, wife?”
“Yes!” she gasped. He flayed her covered nipple with his tongue, then took it into his mouth. Betsy thought she would go crazy if he didn’t uncover the things and taste them the right way. Without another word she pushed the dress upwards until she’d uncovered her bra, making Gabriel laugh.
“Impatient as ever, I see.” he teased her, using his nose to nuzzle his way inside the bra cup and taking the nipple into his wet mouth. She moaned louder as he flayed it with his tongue again.
“Gabriel, please!” she pleaded softly. “Now, please!”
He kept her nipple in his mouth as his hands returned to her hips. He grabbed hold and held her as he thrust into her again, faster and harder than he’d done before. Betsy groaned uncontrollably as her body practically exploded with wave after wave of pure pleasure.
When they’d finished this time, Gabriel slid an exhausted Betsy back onto her own seat. They each righted their clothes, and then curled up so that they were touching each other as they drifted off to sleep in their seats. Several hours passed before they woke as the plane prepared to land.
“Our hotel room is only a few minutes from the airport.” Gabriel explained as they rejoined Rico and all three headed for the exit. “When we get there, I plan to give you a bite for protection. It won’t have the full power that tomorrow’s bite should have, so it’s not likely that it will cause you to turn, but it should make it much harder to harm you, and it will prevent you from being turned by any other werewolf.”
    “I understand.” she agreed.
“Keep this bag with you,” he reminded her as he strapped the bag with the gun inside onto her arm. “You never know when you might need it.”
The ride to the hotel was uneventful. They checked in and were each given a key, and then they left Rico and headed for their own room, holding hands along the way.

CHAPTER SEVEN

“I do not wish to leave you alone for the day, but I cannot possibly bring you with me to the meeting without putting you in great danger, mi amore .” said Gabriel as the pair of them headed for the door to their hotel. “New York is nothing like Nevada. The people here are much more vicious—and these people are related to my ex.”
    “Really?”
“I feel I must warn you about Lucretia,” he said then. “Ours was not a love match, Betsy. I was given to her on the night I was made because she thought I would make an interesting plaything. She is a direct descendent from the family of Lupo, and a powerful boss in her own right.”
    “A female boss?”
“Yes, it is almost unheard of, but she is a boss in her own right, and hungry for power.” he explained. “She goes about calling herself the Alpha female, and she believes it completely. Her obsessiveness was one of the main reasons we divorced. At the time, I told her that she could have half of my empire if she would just go away and let me take care of my own half without interfering. She agreed.”
“And so she moved back here, with her own family, while you remained back west on your own.” said Betsy with a nod. “I see. So, why the concern now?”
“There are many among our kind who feel that among the families there should never be a divorce.” he said with a sigh as he pulled out the door key. “Her father has insisted for some time that we are still man and wife. I am worried that he may have called me here to forbid our wedding, and that was one of the reasons I felt we should be married before we came.”
“You’re hoping to force him to let you out
