energy made her shift her feet, taking a step forward that nearly sent her sprawling across a man kneeling at her feet.
Where the hell had he come from ? The man dropped to his hands, on all fours before her.
Bewildered, she looked to Passion Flower for an explanation. The woman smiled. “Slave Chastity, place a foot on slave Henry’s back.” Chastity did as requested and a woman standing to her left lifted her foot and slipped a thin transparent bracelet over Chastity’s ankle. Immediately, it adjusted to fit. The band looked harmless, so Chastity decided not to resist.
“Now, the other,” Passion Flower said, and Chastity obeyed. Again a bracelet was slipped over her other ankle, adjusting on its own. Next, similar ones were placed on both wrists.
Chastity tugged at the band on her left wrist.

Passion Flower stilled Chastity’s hand with one of her own. “They cannot be removed without your Master’s permission.”
“They look fragile, as if you could tear them off without much effort.” She tugged again, finding them amazingly sturdy. “What are they for?”
“You will see.” Passion Flower guided her to another entrance. When she pushed open the door, Chastity came to an abrupt halt, gasping. A magnificent waterfall cascaded into a pool of crystal-clear water, so pure the bottom was visible. Large, flat, green leaves with flowers that looked like white Moth orchids floated upon its surface. Every few minutes the broad petals would close, and when they reopened a fountain of water sprung from their center. Sand that felt like foam, soft and light, squished between her toes as she entered the garden. The sensation of walking through whipped cream was highly sensual as she strolled to the water’s edge.
“It’s beautiful.” Chastity tilted her head and listened to the sweet song of birds high in the trees. Clusters of tiny flowers that looked like pink balls of fur were sprinkled throughout. Any moment she expected the breeze to lift the flowers high into the air creating a heavenly cloud of velvet catkins.
“Slave Tatiana will bath you.” Passion Flower waved toward the pond. “Enjoy.”
Then she disappeared behind a mountain of rock, covered in moss. The petite women with short dark hair and eyes to match guided Chastity into the water. “Welcome to Zygoman.”
Wide-eyed, Chastity stopped short. “There’s something in the water.” Invisible hands skimmed lightly over her skin, as if she shared the water with a million living creatures. A shiver slithered up her back as her feet began to move toward the bank. The woman giggled. “Synthetically enhanced amoebas.”
Chastity jumped and yelped, “One-celled organisms? Parasites? Like the kind that live off a host?” Panic rose in her throat as she made a beeline to the shore. Sprays of mist went everywhere with her efforts.
She had to get out of the water.
A misstep brought her down face-first, water gushing over her head. She came up sucking in a breath as she choked and spat, gagging at the thought of swallowing the tiny parasites.
This time the woman threw back her head and a stream of laughter burst forth.
“The key word is synthetic , manmade.” She helped Chastity to her feet, pulling her resisting body deeper into the bug-infested water. “Everything on this planet is created to stimulate the senses. Here in Zygoman the amoebas have been modified to cleanse instead of feed. We use no soaps, no shampoos—the creatures in the water break down and dispose of impurities. And it’s a great conditioner for the hair and skin.”
Was the woman jerking her leg? “You’re bullshitting me.”
“No, I’m not‘ bullshitting ’ you,” the woman mocked. 39

Chastity swallowed nervously. Then she quickly dipped down and began to wash her body. There was no way she’d stay any longer than necessary in the water. Her hands briskly brushed down her arms, but the tiny fingers touching and caressing
