creations came together that they could be heard. She pondered that thought and then paused, “How could she hear anyone’s thoughts if she was not from either of the two creations. She must have some sort of indirect contact with one of the creators. Ummm. It had to be the Cat’s creation. That is where every life form was located and she could hear everyone around her, except for the three warrior trainees at the table. They must be connected to the Creator of the “Three Brothers.”
But the Trainer said that no one heard the music anymore. That meant no one was connected. But these three were not open to her. They had to be connected to that other creation and she suspected they heard the music. She would make sure that when they went to select their armor, she would be there. She decided the only way to know was to keep an eye on the brown haired warrior named Robby. He was the only one she could see and he would know. Jixie turned her attention to her body and began distributing the nutrients where they were needed. She thought about the one that asked about the music. Something about him was different from the others. She needed to keep him in her attention as well.

The electronic screen was a beast. The new Life Warriors had been given their armor three weeks earlier and had learned how to operate the complicated systems. Sam tried to control his armor in the battle scene, but was finally overwhelmed. The Trainer said, “Not Bad, Private. You made it to eighty six percent.”
    “It’s not good enough, Sir.”
    “Keep at it. You’ll improve.”
“Is there any way for some of us to come in after hours and train?”
The Officer looked at a clipboard and said, “Tomorrow night at eleven is the only time it’s available.”
“Please clear me to come in and work.”
“You’re down. I’ll have the facility powered until one AM.”
The Trainer saw leadership potential in the private and those selected to lead were given every advantage to improve. It was actually available two hours earlier but he wanted to know if the private was sincere in his desire to improve. He would check and see if he actually showed up that late.

Jixie saw that Robby was going to the electronic training facility in a couple of minutes and she shook Jennifer, “What, what!”
“Get up and come with me.”
    “Leave me alone.”
“Jennifer, get up or I’m going to snatch you out of that bed like I did at the bog!”
Jennifer groaned and rolled over. Jixie said, “Get dressed.”
Jennifer followed Jixie out of the barracks and said, “What’s going on? Will you slow down?”
Jixie slowed her pace and watched Robby join the three others outside the Electronic Training Facility. They entered the building and Jennifer said, “What are they doing?”
“I suspect some additional training. I want to see what’s going on.”
“And you didn’t want to get in trouble by yourself?”
Jixie looked at Jennifer and smiled, “Exactly. Let’s go in and sit in the back row. They won’t see us.”
“The door chime will warn them.”
Jixie didn’t think about that. “I don’t think it works at night. We’ll tell them we’re there to practice as well.”
Jennifer was hopping up and down on her toes, “Jixie, we could get in trouble.”
“For wanting the same opportunity to grow as the four of them?”
Jennifer stopped hopping and said, “You’re right. Lead the way.”
Jixie moved up to the door and silenced the chime before she opened it. They bent over and slipped into the chairs in the back row of the darkened viewing section. They slid down in their seats and watched the four run attack simulations. Jixie heard, “The best we can do is eighty eight percent on level six.”
Dort said, “Why did you want to do this, Sam?”
“We need to see what will happen if we link.”
Robby said, “I thought you were going to wait and do that at the armory?”
“We need to know before we
