fantasize."
"What do you fantasize about?" she asked, and I knew she was avoiding answering.
"Kate of a million questions." I shook my head and cupped her cheek, stroking her skin with a thumb. "I fantasize about you letting me fuck you any way I want, any time I want, anywhere I want and making you cry out my name in pleasure." I smiled and kissed her, my fingers threading through her hair. "Right now, I want you to stop with the questions and let me fuck you, Katherine ..."
She bit her lip and closed her eyes. I knew that she still needed a blindfold to submit fully. I kissed her deeply and insistently, taking her clothes off, spreading her thighs and rubbing my cock all over her. It took barely two minutes of thrusting, my fingers on her clit, to bring on her first orgasm.
I smothered her cries of pleasure with a kiss.

    CHAPTER SEVEN

The jam session with the guys went well, but it was a sad night for us because it would be the last one before Kate and I left for Kenya.
Even Mrs. O came out from her office and sat in the audience, listening as she worked on her receipts for the night. The small crowd of regulars even listened with a bit more attention than usual, because Ken announced that I’d be leaving in a short while and the band would be taking on a new member while I was in Kenya.
I felt a tinge of regret that I was leaving my life in Manhattan, and would miss Ken and the guys. I’d miss my music, although I could still practice as much as I felt like it in my time off. Of course, now I had Kate, and would have Kate full-time, so I knew my life was changing – for the better.
I would rather have fewer hours playing with the band if it meant I had Kate with me.

Later, when I got back to the Chelsea apartment, Kate lying on the couch in the living room with a blanket around her. I’d given her a key earlier in the week, but wasn’t expecting her. She looked happy to see me.
I smiled at her when I came in, and after taking off my coat, I went right over and kissed her before I did anything else. I wanted her to know she was my main focus. When we were together, I pledged to myself that I would put her first, and ensure my other responsibilities took second place. I wasn’t going to lose her the way I had Maureen.
"I'm beat," I said, flopping down on the couch beside her. "Can we just snuggle? I don't feel like doing anything."
She moved closer to me. "Fine with me."
"Oh," I said, remembering that she had been planning on meeting with Dawn. "What's up with Dawn? How did your meeting go?"
    "Terrible," she said and frowned.
"What happened?" I ran my fingers over her cheek and waited. She took in a deep breath and exhaled, like she was steeling herself in order to talk about her meeting with Dawn. That woman frustrated and angered me. Most of all, I was upset that Kate was so determined to mend their relationship. However, it did show how loyal Kate was and that was not something to view lightly. My previous experience with women and loyalty was somewhat tainted.
"I tried to explain things to her, reason with her,” Kate said, her voice sad, “but she wouldn't listen to me. So, I asked her to pretend we weren't together, but everything came back to you. I had to walk out on her and give up. She can't accept that we're together and that you're not a danger to me."
I shook my head. "I'm sorry. I know you two have been friends for a long time. Maybe when she sees that you’re still the same person, only happier, she'll come around."
    She sighed. "I hope so."
We spent the rest of the evening on the couch, watching an old Bogart movie on television, and eating microwave popcorn.

I woke the next morning to snow falling outside the window. Kate snuggled closer beside me and as much as I would have loved to roll over and have sex with her, I couldn’t. I had an early meeting, so I leaned up on my elbow to check the clock radio on the nightstand. I slipped quickly out of
