him to give her the chance to go first. To find something he liked that
she could be good at. He’d agreed after several clever pouts and glances at his
erection. And now here they were, with her failing miserably.
“Emma, you don’t have to do this. Come
here,” he said and tried to pull her up onto his lap.
    She stayed planted. “Except
I do need to do this, Sam.”
“Need to? Because trust me, it’s not a
requirement. It kills me that I made you feel that way.”
“Sam,” she said but lost whatever else
she should say in that moment.
His thighs relaxed and his hips scooted
forward in the cutest way, like he was offering up his lap as a soft place to
rest her head while they debated whether or not she would ever be able to do
this properly. Maybe it wasn’t a deal breaker, but the profound sadness she saw
him trying to hide made her relentless in this desire to figure it out.
Her friend and ex-Army soldier had
played dress-up for her, for God’s sake, in a Navy uniform of all things. She
owed him this and took a chance with her next words, feeling fairly certain she
knew the answer.
“You’ve never had this done full-on and
properly before, have you?” Silently she prayed he’d say no because she
realized what a silly question it had been as soon as it slipped out.
Look at the man. He was gorgeous, built
beyond belief, and a complete gentleman. Women with way more experience than
her would surely have lined up to do him the favor. She’d seen them salivate
for the chance here every night.
Whatever the truth, he quietly told her,
“No.”
She tugged her bottom lip in as she
surveyed his delicate yet powerful cock, poised and ready to be claimed. The
sudden realization hit hard. If she didn’t do it, eventually, Sam was going to
find someone who would. He’d settle down with someone. An ache wormed its way
through her heart.
A gust of his breath blew down over her
forehead.
“Hold on,” she said. “I’m not giving
up.”
“Hon,” he started to say. The endearment
melted her senses. Another check mark on the good relationship list he’d
started earlier. “Is this stubborn you or determined you?” A hot breath poured
out from his lungs.
“Both,” she said, refusing to lose
contact with his eyes right now.
His eyes closed for a second. He wiped a
hand over his mouth, then plugged his nostrils for a split second and sniffed in.
His eyes turned dark green, the gray in them taking over and turning her to
almost nothingness. “Just the head, if you can. That would be perfect, you don’t need to do anymore. I’m just too fucking
big.”
The fact that she never heard him curse
around her said everything.
Emma undid the rest of the buttons on
her shirt-dress, amazed he’d made that request, skipping over the ones that
he’d already expertly started and undone, and let it fall to the ground.
    “No, you’re perfect, Sam Jason.”
She undid her bra and sucked in a breath
as she let it fall, too. His eyes, hooded and heavy with thick lashes, acted
like an observant spy, collecting all her bits and pieces as evidence. She’d
never felt more wanted, more safe. The best part? He’d
looked at her once this way before. Her idea? She
prayed he liked it.
Emma went back to the spot between his
huge thighs and returned to her knees. She bent over and took just the head of
his cock into her mouth. His taste hit her immediately, and her teeth scraped
up against his sensitive flesh when her mouth tried to close around him. There
was no way around that.
She held him, salty and moist and hard,
in her mouth for as many seconds as she could before needing a breath. Sam let
out a soft groan. She hoped her teeth hadn’t hurt him.
When she breathed, she breathed him in
and then laid more kisses and long licks up and down. The way he held so still,
his breaths obviously being controlled to the nth degree, she prayed he was
into it. One more time, she spread her lips around his wet tip and this
