looking like it was carved into it. “So I had these made up for us. Our names are set in the stones in my old language, see.” He showed her, then he slipped it on the ring finger on her left hand. “And I must add, I’m very happy to discover that you like the blue stones.”
“I love it!” With a smile still in place, Kalisha slipped his ring on his finger.
“Men like myself don’t wear this kind of thing, but I know the men on Earth do.”
“They are beautiful.”
“Not as beautiful as you are, or as dear as you are to my heart.” He brought her hand up, the one with the ring, and kissed it. “Come on. I’m starving.”
Kalisha laughed at him, and hand in hand they left. Once more they were blindfolded in the shuttle as they left the mine. Once they were back in the neutral zone, they took another shuttle to a restaurant and Zane ordered a big meal. Of course he had to explain to her what most of the food was and thankfully she liked about half of it. Before he was ready to call it a night he had more little surprises up his sleeve.
On their way to the final show of the day, Zane decided to stop for a little shopping. After all, neither of them really had much to wear since all of this started out as a rescue mission.
Being on Jupiter there weren’t too many places to shop. Being so far from the sun, most of the clothes worn by the people who did live there were long sleeved and heavy for the cool climate.
They did manage to find a place for Kalisha to get some designer shoes. The owner of the store fit the shoes to the feet and he was fast at his trade. A soft leather, flexible soled shoe which would be super comfortable and strong. Zane ordered two pairs for her and one set for himself and paid extra to have them delivered to the house.
Next shop, some clothes.
There were only a few decent clothing stores and only two sold anything which might be thought of as sexy. Some new panties, in as many colors as he could find, a few camisoles, two bras, jeans, tops, and one very sexy, long, white silk robe that Kalisha tried to argue with him about since it was pricy. The reason for that was simple. Jupiter imported silk so anything made with it would be costly. Zane didn’t care. He also picked out a skimpy, very short, matching silk nighty that he couldn’t wait to get her in and then out of.
With bags in hand, Zane finally had her to himself and in a rented shuttle they were now heading toward his last surprise for the evening.
He had to keep reminding Kalisha of one thing. They were on a honeymoon. That meant, no matter where they might be staying, the government was paying for most of the expenses. So, he had money to spend on her and had been saving it up for the day when he did find his bride. He was looking forward to spoiling her as much as he could and even when they did get back home and settle down he was still going to spoil her.
They came upon another building having the appearance of a factory. Leaving the bags in the shuttle, Zane took Kalisha by the hand and went inside. He was handed a key by a man at the doors and told where to go in a language that Kalisha couldn’t understand.
Together they walked down a long hallway and up some stairs to an elevator where Zane used the key he’d been given. Once he opened the door he stepped back and let her go in first. After he was in, the doors closed behind him. The second the doors closed the elevator shot up. Kalisha lost her footing and almost fell into Zane.
“Where are we going?” she asked.
“You’ll see.”
“You know, I should tell you I don’t care for a lot of surprises.”
“Too bad,” he replied and smiled, then leaned down and kissed her on the cheek. “You’ll love this one.”
The elevator seemed to go on forever before it stopped with a hard jolt. Once more Kalisha almost fell, but Zane had his arm tightly around her. When the doors opened, they walked out to another set of double doors. Zane pushed them
