Nyree reached a hand out behind her, trying to find the bars of the cage while her other hand pulled the front of the ridiculous gown up and held it clamped to her front.
    “What are you doing?”
    “Trying to find the cell.”
“It’s to your left,” Rohm offered.
Nyree reached for it and froze.  “How do you know?”
“All Keepers can see in the dark.”
She felt heat flooding her cheeks.  It was disconcerting knowing he could see her, but she couldn’t see him.  Dropping her hand, she slid to her left.
“Why are you trying to find the cell?”
“Because it’s bed time.”  She’d planned on propping herself up in the corner again, but Rohm clearly had other ideas.  Hands gripped her hips once again, she was tugged across the floor.  Before she could protest, she was pulled down and wrapped in the cocoon of Rohm’s body.
    “You sleep here now.”
Now?   She didn’t know what that meant, but didn’t fight him.  She knew it’d be cold again, and if he didn’t let Zavier lose, she’d probably freeze.  Confused at his sudden change, she forced herself to relax as he adjusted her so her back was pressed into him and his bicep pillowed her head.  Her stomach grumbled, and she placed a hand over it.  They hadn’t been fed or given any water and Nyree noticed that she was growing tired more easily.  It didn’t help that the asshole, wannabe “Doctor” kept cutting her.
“They will feed us tomorrow,” Rohm assured from behind her, his voice so deep that his chest rumbled.
She didn’t question him, just hoped he was right.  She was starving and thirsty as hell but felt bad for Rohm.  At least she’d gotten a drink of water when they’d let her use the bathroom.  He’d gone without.
“Your wounds should be mostly healed by morning,” he whispered against her ear.
“But, you told that sick fuck…”
    “I lied.”
Wrapped in Rohm’s warmth, Nyree relaxed and thought about what was to come.  The bastard was adamant that Rohm “seed” her, and to her mortification, she couldn’t help but wonder what it would be like to have the massive Keeper fucking into her. No! No way was she allowing herself to be bred like a dog while that bastard watched and gloated! Clamping down on her thoughts, she forced herself to think of an escape plan until she finally drifted off.  Somewhere just between cognizance and slumber, she swore she heard Rohm rumble, “You are mine now, Nyree.  I’ll never let you go.”
    ***
Nyree woke to Rohm’s big body shifting behind her.
    “Wake up,” he whispered.
He gently pulled his arm from under her head as she blinked into the darkness.  “What’s happening?”  She tried to sit up, but a hand on her chest kept her pinned flat.
“I need to inspect your wounds.”
What?   “No.”  As she reached for her skirt, her top was pulled down.  “Rohm!”  One hand left her skirt to yank her top back up.  Then two hands were spreading her thighs.  She fought to clamp them shut.  “Stop it,” she hissed.
“Do you want to do this with the lights on, and them watching?” he asked from somewhere so close to her face she felt his breathe fan her cheeks.
Still too groggy from sleep and her abrupt awakening, Nyree couldn’t control the emotion that surged to the fore.  “I don’t want to do it at all,” she whispered, her voice faltering.
In the darkness above her, she felt him rumble before she heard it.  “I know you do not like me, Nyree, but I won’t allow them to watch us again.  You need to be healed, and I am going to see to your needs.  Spread your legs for me.”
She stalled for long moments, debating, before finally inching her thighs apart in invitation.  Rohm didn’t bother easing into it.  He went straight for her core, and memories of what he could do with his tongue came flooding back in a heated pool that hit her hard and had her instantly aching with need.
Damn it!   She tried to steel herself.  She
