and sometimes you find a woman or a man who you fall for, and you give that shot and hope for the best.”
“So, in ten years, you’ve only been in one relationship?”
“No,” he laughs. “I’ve had a couple women I’ve been in relationships with, but they were short-lived.”
“Did you take a break from the escort business for those relationships?”
“I did with one. She knew I had been an escort though, and it ended up eating away at her. She wondered if every woman who smiled at me was a woman I had been with. It became a very hostile relationship, and that’s never good. She became very insecure, and no matter how much I reassured her that I was only sleeping with her, and how beautiful I thought she was, she didn’t believe me.”
“Hmm. And the other? You didn’t stop escorting for her?”
“Well, when you say it like that, it sounds bad,” he laughs. “Are you ready for another secret?” he asks in a husky voice, putting his mouth closer to my ear.
Words escape me as his warm breath dances across my skin, giving me goose bumps, and all I do is nod.
    “She was a client.”
I gasp. “Really? Isn’t that against the rules?”
“Let’s just say I don’t follow rules very well,” he says.
    “Well, now I’m really intrigued.”
I turn around and face him, and he’s looking at me with a crooked grin. This is the first time I’ve seen him look so relaxed and comfortable. I really like this version of Marc.
“You’re getting a lot of information about me, but what about you?” he asks. “I think I need to find out more about Nathalia.”
“What would you like to know?”
“Anything,” he states, pulling me closer, and bringing us both to a laying position. I’m now laying my cheek on his chest and he has his arm wrapped around me.
“My name is Nathalia LaBelle. I’m French. My father owns this hotel and more. My mother died a long time ago, and I have no siblings. I’m pretty open-minded, I love to live in the moment, and try not to dwell on the negative.”
I look up at him and he smiles. “Any more?” he asks.
Resting my face back on his chest, I think of some more personal stuff, since what he gave me was pretty personal.
“Umm. Well, you know about my desire to be with two men. I’m not really sure where that came from. Maybe I’ve read too many romance novels. I’ve fooled around with women, but not in the way where I’d considered myself bi. I did the whole 'experimenting in college' thing, which basically means we got drunk and kissed and laughed.” I laugh, remembering those days. “I’m a very sexual person. I love having sex, watching people have sex, talking about sex. I think a lot of women fear being open with their sexuality, but that’s not me. I want to try everything.”
“Why is that?” he asks, running his hand softly up and down my arm. “Why do you think women fear it?”
“I think it’s because women are so quick to be called whores or sluts if they show a desire in sex. That’s preposterous to me. I mean, we’re fucking human, and who doesn’t love sex? Men can screw women, watch porn, jack off, and that’s completely normal, but if a woman expresses her love of porn or masturbation, it’s like… well, obviously she’s a slut . You know, just because we have sex with men doesn’t mean we’re the ones getting fucked.”
I stop to take a breath and I feel Marc’s body shaking from a laugh.
“I completely agree with you,” he says. “Even if I didn’t, I’d be afraid to disagree with you on this topic.”
“Oh shut up,” I joke, taking a swipe at his arm.
“Well, I can see why you and Lincoln would have a connection.”
“Why’s that?” I ask, genuinely curious.
“You’re open with your sexuality, and obviously so is he. Sex club and all.”
I laugh. “I guess so. He’s just weird with his rules.”
“Yeah, I haven’t heard of that before. There must be a reason for it, because that really cuts down
