Seeking Prince Charming
long as you set that on the hood of the car and promise not to throw it at me.”
Cringing, Chloe placed the tub on the hood of the car and then looked down at the pavement between their feet. “I’m sorry I threw a salad at you.”
    “That’s a start.”
“And I’m sorry I overreacted without giving you the benefit of the doubt.”
    “And?”
Looking up, Chloe eyed Reed, not sure what he was expecting her to say.
Shrugging, Reed gave her a cocky grin. “And, I’m wondering what you plan on doing to make it up to me. It was a Caesar salad. Its dressing stained my favourite t-shirt.”
Chloe laughed. “So you want me to buy you a new t-shirt?”
Grabbing her hands in his, Reed smiled softly at her and pulled her into his arms. “I want your promise that from now on we discuss our issues. I suspect that was the biggest issue our parents had was lack of communication. Your mother would fly off the handle and my father would drink and fuck anything in sight.” His expression grew serious. “I don’t want that for us, Chloe. I genuinely want this to work between us. Sex with you meant something to me, I would never have taken your virginity if it didn’t. But you have to trust me… trust that what’s developing between us is real. I’m not my father and I’d never do to you what he did to Susan.”
Clinging tight to Reed, Chloe buried her face into his neck, savouring the feel of his arms. “I’ve been miserable without you these past few days. It feels like things are going so fast between us, but at the same time it feels like we’ve been together for years. So it really hurt thinking…”
Reed pulled back and looked her in the eye. “That’s why it was so frustrating to me. Our situation isn’t exactly normal. It’s old and new at the same time. But I felt that you should have trusted that when I said it wasn’t me, that it was the truth or at least given me the benefit of the doubt and a chance to prove you wrong.”
“I’m sorry, it’s just –” Reed cut her off by lowering his lips to hers. He lifted his lips just long enough from hers to add, “No more I’m sorry.”
For a moment Chloe froze, stunned by his sudden unexpected reaction. Once the realization of what was happening hit her she sighed against his mouth, parting her lips and inviting him in. As his tongue touched hers and their tongues began to dance, her body responded to him. Sliding her hands up his chest, she laced her fingers behind his neck and pressed herself tight to him.
The anxiety of the previous few days slipped from her consciousness and he was hers again, as if nothing had ever happened. The desire within her suddenly flared up – hot and powerful – and she began to move against him, the movement gaining the desired reaction and his cock began to thicken under his jeans until it was a rock hard mass, pressing against her stomach.
He pulled away from her, but just enough so he could look her in the eyes. The look he gave her was raw and feral; it sent a shiver down her spine and she inhaled sharply. Placing a hand on her cheek, he traced her lower lip with his thumb. “I’ve had to go four days without kissing you.”
    “I’m –”
She didn’t get a chance to respond, as he spun her around and bent her over the cool, smooth hood of the car. His body covered hers as he brushed her hair to one side and began to run a string of kisses up her neck starting at her shoulder and ending at her earlobe. The sensations his lips provoked shimmied through her and she moaned softly, grinding back against him.
“Days without touching you.” His hands slipped up and under her skirt, caressing her thighs and buttocks. She moaned as his hands moved closer and closer to the apex between her legs as her panties began to dampen from her building desire.
“Or taste you.” Reed stepped between her legs and forced them further apart. Pulling her panties to the side he slipped a finger deep into her, making her
