beginning of their time together. He wanted forever and he would have it with her. She was his everything. He didn’t know he would fall in love as fast as he did, but he had never met anyone like Evelyn before.
She lay back languidly on top of the rock. “I’m waiting.”
Who was he to deny her? Paul crawled up on the cliff and joined her, pulling her back into his arms, and kissed her senseless. Evelyn’s legs opened wide as he caressed her tender flesh once again. Once she melted in his arms again he started to push himself into her warm heat. He moved slowly letting her adjust to his size. With every kiss, he would enter her a little bit more until he was fully seated inside her tight channel.
    “Are you all right?”
    “I’m perfect.”
He agreed. She was perfect. Paul moved in and out of her in slow agonizing thrusts. This was the first time they would ever make love and he wanted it to be as special as he could make it. It had to be something they would always remember. There was no reason to rush and every reason to relish in the feel of their bodies joined together as one. The closer they came to an orgasm the faster his pace became. At a certain point neither one of them could hold back their passion. Her breath hitched as her release was at the point of spiraling out of control. She screamed when it hit its peak. Her channel rippled over him sending him into the best release he’d ever had. There were no words to describe how amazing it was.
Making love, not just sex, was so much better. He’d thought all that was nonsense. How wrong he’d been. He sent a silent prayer up to whoever sent him back in time to find the love of his life. He owed them so much. When he got back to his time, to New York, he’d also stop in to see the doctor who demanded he take a vacation. He was the one who’d sent Paul on this path. If he hadn’t followed his advice he wouldn’t be holding the greatest treasure he’d ever find in his arms. The doctor deserved personal thanks for that alone.
    “Paul.”
    “Yes, sweetheart?”
She lifted her hand and cupped his cheek. “When can we do that again?”
He laughed. She was precious and too adorable for words. “I need a little recovery time, but soon. I don’t think I will ever get enough of you.”
She sighed. “I agree. This is the best day of my life. We will have to do this often.”
He leaned down and placed a light kiss on her lips. “I love you.”
She grinned. “I love you too.”
The pool, the waterfall, making love… it had all been amazing. So much so he wanted to stay in there and bask in its glory as long as possible. He was realistic though. He knew that they couldn’t stay there. They had to get back to the real world. He had finally remembered what happened to him and how he fell back in time. The storm had played a huge part in it. The wind had picked him up and pushed him over the edge near the cave. He’d fallen, literally, through a time hole with the help of the storm surge.
He didn’t know how they could use that to their advantage to return to 1987, but he had to figure out a way. They would be safer and happier in his time.
“I think we need to get dressed and head back to the cave. It’s going to get dark soon.”
“I know you’re right.” She sighed. “It’s been so wonderful here I don’t want to leave.”
He kissed her nose. “Come, let’s get dressed. I will start a fire tonight. I’m sure the pirates are long gone.”
With her wet hair he didn’t want her to catch a chill. For her he would risk anything, even the wrath of pirates. He hoped he was right and they were already on the other side of the island. They swam to the edge of the pool and stepped out. Paul dressed quickly, and then helped Evelyn tie the laces of her dress.
They headed back to the cave. He lifted her hand to his mouth and kissed the palm. Nothing would come between them. Life was as fantastic as it was ever going to be.
