remembered, they were standing on the back porch in plain view of the guys.
“Back side of the barn. You moved us when I kissed you.” Cajun trailed his palm down the inside of her leg.
Olivia thought back to the moment when her back had hit the wall and his startled glance right before his touch traversed south into her panties. That must’ve been when they’d shifted locations. “I can’t teleport or whatever it’s called.”
“Obviously, you can.” He grasped her ankle and circled his thumb over her anklebone. “Lift your foot, so I can fuck your pussy with my tongue properly.”
Had she just turned on a homing beacon to the Gathering that wanted her dead? That likelihood was worse than a deranged shifter wanting to force a mating because it put the entire Wolfe family in danger. “Do you think teleporting leaves a magical imprint that can be tracked?”
“You’re really killing the mood, Olivia.”
Olivia stared in the direction she could hear faint chatter, while pondering how screwed up her life had become. “I’m sorry. I-I didn’t mean to be a cock-tease.”
Whatever he heard in her voice had him in her face. “What is frightening you?”
    She shook her head. “Nothing.”
“I can’t help you if you don’t tell me.”
That was funny. Up against a Gathering he’d be decimated. “I’m not scared.” I’m terrified . “I’m fine.”
    “I can scent lies, remember?”
    “Isn’t that convenient?”
Olivia shoved him away and bent to pull up her pants, only to find herself off balance a second later. Cajun spun her around and put her face first against the wall, not roughly, but with purpose. He popped her naked ass with his palm. While she sputtered her outrage, he smacked her other cheek.
“I can’t protect you if you don’t confide in me. Trust me, catin.”
The nerve of him, thinking he could bully her into confessing her secrets. She tried to elbow him in the gut, but he must’ve expected her attack because he sidestepped the blow and cuffed her wrists with his, anchoring them against the barn wall on either side of her head.
    “Release me, Cajun.”
“No.” He aligned his front to her back, and once again she struggled to breathe simply because of his presence. “I had my tongue in your tasty cunt.”
“Need a toothpick to pick some pussy out of your teeth?”
He chuckled against the back of her ear. “You wanted to come on my tongue.”
Hell yeah she had. A nun would’ve been invested in that outcome. “If I get a splinter because of your abuse—”
He rocked against her ass. The hard outline of his dick had her teeth snapping together and biting back a groan.
“Olivia, you know enough about shifters and how we work. My wolf will not allow me to walk away from you when he knows you’re in danger. Talk to me.”
“You’re out of your league here, Benji. Not only that, you cannot expect me to trust you simply because you think I’m your mate.”
    “I don’t think it. I know it.”
“I don’t care what you think you know.”
“I thought we made some headway in our relationship the last couple of days.”
She clenched her jaw, resenting he used her growing fondness for him as a means to coerce her to do his will.
She turned her head to glare at him. “Release me now, or I swear you’ll never have a second chance.”
With a jerk, he let her go. Olivia yanked up her jeans and walked off, the rough material of her denim turning her arousal near unbearable.

    Cajun

Cajun watched her walk away. What the hell just happened? One moment he’d had his tongue shoved up her wet cunt, and the next she’d been panicking over something he couldn’t isolate.
She’d seemed surprised by the teleport. Claimed she didn’t have the ability, when clearly she was capable of the magic. She’d probably never teleported before. Had that been enough to unsettle her? Or did she worry Jessie could track the magic she’d used?
    Feeling certain there was
