However, if you ’ re looking for some conspiracy-based relationship between Mike and myself, you are mistaken. ” He thrust fingers through his long hair, tugging. “ Maybe this should wait another month or so, after you have adjusted to motherhood. I ’ ll take Ardan downstairs instead. ”
Nicely putting it, Bren thought her recently whirling hormones might play a role in her thoughts concerning Mike, which was far from the truth. She had never felt this well adjusted since becoming a mother.
