Jacob looks
for Tiffany but can’t find her. Jacob proceeds to his table. Nicki, Jane,
David, Paul, and Samantha eat with Vito in the kitchen at a special booth as
they always do. They have other photographers take pictures at the event.
Samantha and her team tell jokes while enjoying a great bottle of red wine. The
music that is playing drowns out their laughter. Samantha sits on her knees
dancing to the music. Jacob comes to the kitchen.
“Hey, I've
been looking all over for you.”
“Let me
introduce you to my team. Jacob this is Vito Galard responsible for the magnificent
food tonight. Nicki, my right hand; Jane the best decorator ever; David our
tech consultant; and you remember Paul my photographer. Samantha makes her way
out the booth and grabs Jacob's hand.
“It was nice
to meet everyone.”
They
walk back out to the party.
“Tiffany I
don't understand. It sounds like you're more than a photographer,” he says.
Samantha’s
boss walks over to them.
"Jacob,
how are you?" he asks as they shake hands.
“My name is
Don Phillips from Keene Phillips Party planners I hope the party is to your
liking.
"Yes it
is more than I could have hoped for," he says.
“I hope
Samantha is taking care of you.”
With a
confused look on his face Jacob replies, “Yes.”
“This is a
Samantha Posey spectacular. She is the Party Planner to the stars! She will
stop at nothing to raise the most money at these Galas,” says Mr. Phillips.
"Alright
well enjoy," says Mr. Phillips.
She hangs
her head low as Don walks away.
"What
the fuck is going on!” seethes Jacob.
"Let me
explain please Jacob," says Samantha.
He looks so
hurt like the joke is on him. Nicki walks up.
"There's
a problem in the kitchen. I need your help," says Nicki.
Knowing what
had just happened she comes to her rescue. Nicki pulls her to the back. "Don't
cry. You have to hold it together until the Gala is over.”
“I’ll try.”
Meanwhile,
Jacob is at the bar getting a drink because he’s so pissed. He gets a call to
the stage to greet his guests.
He says, “I
would really like to thank a special lady who made all this possible, Samantha
Posey, Ladies and Gentleman!”
Every one
applauds. The spot light shines on her.
“Come on
up!” he says.
She
hesitates but goes up.
"People
have a way of amazing you when we least expect it. I just didn’t see this coming,"
says Jacob. “I didn’t know this night could get any better.”
She
smiles and accepts the mic.
“Thank you
all for coming to support such a great cause. Children's Cancer can be life
changing for the whole family. The money raised for this charity will go for
Cancer research and to help the families pay medical bills for the children
affected by Cancer. Know that your contributions are making a change in so many
children's lives. Thank you! I hope you continue to enjoy the evening,"
she says, as she exits the stage.

tries to find Jacob. She passes by his friends who look stunned and confused.
She finds him in the kitchen when he grabs her by the
