They arrive Saturday. I’ll go pick them up at the airport. They’re staying for a week.”
“Fuck! A whole week?” Dag shook his head.
    “Yeah. It sucks.”
    “Whatever. We’ll live through it.”
As they ate and talked about more inconsequential things, Chris tried to imagine the future. He’d always known Kassidy would be in his future. He loved her. He was probably going to marry her. They’d probably have kids. But now he couldn’t imagine that future without Dag, without him there too, living with them. What if his parents wanted to spend Christmas together? Were they going to ship Dag out to a hotel? Or what if his parents invited them to Miami for Christmas? Would they leave him behind?
He was going to tell his parents.
    Maybe.
    Next time.
No, he was going to do it this time.
Fuck it, he had no clue what he was going to do. “I need another beer,” he announced, pushing back his chair. “Anyone else?”
Kassidy smiled at him and handed him her wineglass, and he carried it to the fridge to refill it and get another beer.
“Let me mull it over,” he said as he sat back down.
“Mull what over?” Kassidy asked. “Going for a swim at my parents’ tomorrow?”
He blinked at her. “Uh…sorry, I guess I wasn’t paying attention. We’re going swimming at your parents’ tomorrow?”
She grinned. “They invited us. It’s supposed to be super hot tomorrow. And you can get your birthday present.”
“Huh. Okay. But, uh, I meant, let me mull over what to do about my parents.”
    “Chris…”
He shook his head. “I have to deal with it some time.”
“It doesn’t have to be now.”
“I know. I just need to figure some shit out in my head.”
“Okay. Hey, I got a wedding invitation in the mail today.”
    “Oh yeah? Who from?”
“My friend Taisha. From college?” She looked at Dag. “She lives in Los Angeles now, but she’s coming home to Chicago to get married.”
    “Cool.”
“I knew she was getting married, but I wasn’t sure if I’d get an invitation. I didn’t know how big the wedding would be.” She frowned briefly and bit her lip, then shook her head. “I have to check with Danielle and see if she got one too.”
Chris listened to Kassidy go on about wedding gifts and maybe buying a new dress to wear and who would be at the wedding, relaxing a little as he let himself be distracted from thinking about his parents.
“So wild times on a Saturday night,” Dag said as they got up from the table. “Building furniture.”
Kassidy smiled at him, picking up their plates. “Do you want to go out? We could do that.”
He smiled back at her. “Nah. I’m just yanking your chains.” He crowded her up against the counter and kissed the side of her neck. Chris watched as her eyes drifted closed and her head tilted. His groin tightened. “This is where I want to be,” Dag murmured. His tongue stroked over Kassidy’s smooth skin and his mouth closed over her earlobe. “Right…here…”
She gave a soft moan and Dag’s pelvis pressed deeper against her ass. Blood sizzled through Chris’s veins. Watching them together was so fucking hot.
Dag slid his arms around Kassidy from behind and cupped her breasts. Her soft intake of air matched the leap in Chris’s pulse.
“Forget building the furniture,” Chris said, his voice coming out rough. “I wanna watch you two fuck.”
They both turned to look at him, a smile playing on Dag’s lips, Kassidy’s eyes warm and heavy lidded. “Right,” she whispered. “You like to watch.”
“Should we give him a show?” Dag murmured near her ear, loud enough for Chris to hear.
    Chris’s dick throbbed.
“Okay. But not in the kitchen.”
Dag laughed softly and Chris had to smile too. “Living room. On the couch.”
Dag stepped back but didn’t release Kassidy, turning her and then walking her out of the kitchen. As she passed Chris, she trailed her fingers over his cheek and gave him a wink.
    Chris shoved back his
