dark-colored maid who do the cleaning and cooking, but Julian has decided to prepare us some lunch and coffee himself.
We eat lunch in the dining room. Julian has prepared filet mignon and salad. It’s delicious. Even though Julian has maids preparing amazing meals at all his residential properties, and he can have anything in a snap of a finger, he still knows how to prepare meals if he so feels like it. In my mind that is definitely sexy.
We finish lunch and go into the living room to drink our coffee.
“So how have you enjoyed yourself thus far, Cheryl?” Julian asks, raising an eyebrow and taking a sip of his coffee.
“I ’m having so much fun.” I smile and take a sip of my coffee.
“As you know, I am able to travel for a s long as you like. I can work from my laptop. I want you to tell me when you’d like to settle down in my main residential property in Switzerland.”
I’ve been having so much fun on our honeymoon that I haven’t really thought about it. I didn’t even know I had an option. Julian appears to be giving me full control in that area of our married life together. It appears like it is totally up to me whether we continue to travel the world for many months to come or settle down. It was completely the opposite case in my life with Derek. For Julian to offer me this option just makes me love him all the more.
“You don’t have to tell me now,” Julian interrupts my thoughts. “Just wanted to l et you know that the decision is yours to make.”
My heart flickers as I realize how happy I am with Julian.
“ As you know I carry around a gun with me at all times, as most members of my society do,” Julian says, abruptly changing the subject. “I want to give you something for your own protection.”
Julian pulls out a Taser from his pockets and hands it to me. “I want you to carry this at all times. As you know I am very adamant about your protection. Even though I know where you are at all times, although highly unlikely, I might not be able to get to you as soon as I’d like to. I may be mistaken, but I don’t think you want to carry around a gun yourself.”
I take the Taser, glance at it, and look up at Julian. “Thank you, honey,” I whisper, feeling somewhat nervous that this might relate to Derek.
We finish off our coffee in silence. Although I know the great security measures that Julian takes is not just about Derek, I have a feeling it is mostly about Derek. Julian is a much better fighter, but Derek may use weapons or other devices in his fight for me and that thought sends a chill through me.
I grasp the Taser tightly in my hand, wondering if I would be able to carry around a gun. However, I sense that my natural instincts wouldn’t allow me to point and shoot a gun to kill a man that I used to love.

In the late afternoon, we take a five minute cable car up to Table Mountain. The ascent to the top of mountain has beautiful views.
Once we are on top of the mountain there are even more astonishin g 360 degree views of Cape Town and the ocean. We are over one thousand meters above the city.
We watch as the sun begins to set over the city with the most brilliant colors of yellow, orange, and red—a classic African sunset. Julian stands behind me and holds me tight, enveloping my body with his muscular build. It feels so magical standing here in South Africa with the man of my dreams, watching the sunset.
On the way down in the cable car, the sky is already pitch black and the city below is lit up like millions of yellow dots.
Once back at our home in Clifton, we relax on our glass rooftop terrace overlooking the ocean. We are seated on a white couch in a cabana. We are sipping on champagne. I hear the sound of the ocean waves crashing along the shore. Julian lights a cigar and lets me take a few puffs.
Julian tells me a few more interesting details about himself. We’ve only be married for a little over five months, and I’m still learning so many new
