hanging it on the hanger.
“Yeah …” I mutter, walking into the living room. I spot a bag of Doritos lying on the table that I simply can’t ignore. Liquor always makes me hungry as shit, so I grab it and take a few out. The taste is delicious, Cool Ranch, one of my favorites.
    “Help yourself.” Leo chuckles.
“Sorry, I just love these. It’s like you knew I was coming.” I laugh, eating a few more.
I sit down or rather sink into his couch. God, if I had a couch this comfy, I’d never get off my fat ass. Ever.
He walks into the room, too. “I had a bit earlier. I like the flavors.”
“It’s just too good,” I add.
“I feel the same about you.” The left side of his lip inches up into a cheeky grin, which is just too damn sexy. “Which is exactly my problem.”
“Oh, I’m your problem now?” I scoff.
“ We’ve got a problem, Miss Webber.” He sits down beside me.
My jaw drops, but I have no clue what to say. “First you say you want me, now you’ve got a problem. I think you’re the one with problems here, not me.”
He cocks his head. “I didn’t mean this.” His finger goes from me to him and back to me. “I’m talking about the fact that you have been doing something very … bad.” The way he says it makes chills run all over my back.
“What do you mean?” I frown.
He scoots closer, folding his arm over the back of the couch so he can come near me. “You can pretend you’re innocent all you want.”
His free hand runs over my thigh, tickling my senses. I’m still hot and bothered from what happened in the car, and with him being this close, it’s hard not to throw myself into his arms. However, I want to know what he has to say.
“But you and I both know that’s not the truth,” he whispers into my ear. His tongue quickly darts out for a taste.
“Hmmm … go on,” I say, curious where this game is leading.
His hands are all over the place, rubbing me in oh, such a good way, reaching and grabbing for my thighs, ass, and then up to squeeze my boob. He groans in my ear, which makes me moan as well, especially when he presses his lips to my skin again.
“You’ve been a bad girl,” he says.
His hand slips into my pocket, and before I know it, he’s taken out my wallet.
“What are you doing?” I ask.
He takes out a certain card. A credit card. The one that he sent me.
I gulp when he holds it up. “The online statements I saw this afternoon from the credit card company don’t lie. You’ve been using this without my permission. Multiple times.”
“Sorry,” I blurt out. “I shouldn’t have done it.”
“You shouldn’t have. Was it to punish me?” He raises an eyebrow.
My cheeks turn red because I’m ashamed to admit that it’s true. “Sort of. I was in a very … very bad mood.”
“Hmm …” He smirks, placing the credit card and my wallet on the table. “I understand your reasoning. After what I did, I expected a little payback. However, my curiosity is piqued now … tell me, what did you buy with it?”
My eyes widen and immediately I’m aware of the outfit I’m wearing underneath these clothes. I suddenly feel the urge to cover up. Oh God, what will he think of me if he sees this?
“Uh … nothing important,” I say, smiling awkwardly.
His index finger tiptoes from my leg up to my thigh, toying with my senses as he expertly avoids the one spot that I want him to touch the most. “Hmm … I guess you’ll tell me soon. I’ll get it out of you, one way or another.”
“It’s kind of embarrassing, and in hindsight, kind of stupid,” I say.
He chuckles. “I know, Miss Webber, which is exactly why I want to know.” He leans in further, so close that our noses would touch if he’d come one inch closer. “I want to know everything there is to know about you.” His hand slides between my thighs, parting my legs. “There are only some things I know.”
“Like what?” My breathing comes out in short puffs when he leans in
