                  “You forgot to find Brutus.”  The look of shock in her eyes was enough to make him laugh.  She swatted his arm and turned, gripping the knob and then pausing.
                  “Where is Brutus?”
                  “At the vet.  He needed his nails done and vaccines.  They have to put his stubborn ass to sleep just to do what they need to do.”  Colby laughed.  His dog was just like him.  He liked to be around people he liked and never liked going to the doctor.
                  “Hm-mm.”  She huffed, slamming the door behind her.
                  “Women.” He laughed.

         “Come on, Crystal.  You told me you didn’t have any appointments today.  Close up the shop and join me for a day of fun on the river.”  She knew, Crystal, had been working non-stop getting her Tattoo shop up and running, and was doing a great job at it.  She even had a secret crush on one of her customers. “You need a break. Please…. Come with me.” Bianca wanted to have someone there that she knew.  She definitely knew Colby, but she knew there were going to be more people there and she would feel better having someone else with her.
         “I don’t know , Bee. I would feel like the third wheel.  Besides, what would happen to me when you sneak off for some alone time in the woods with your new neighbor?  I can’t just be sitting around twiddling my thumbs while you’re off having sex on the beach.”
         “I promise , I won’t let you out of my sight.   That is unless you sneak off for some alone time yourself.  Did I forget to mention that Colby was inviting some of the other guys from the station?  There is bound to be at least one unattached guy there.  And from what I saw of the ones helping him move there wasn’t a bad one in the bunch.”
         “Well, that does make it a lot more appealing.” Bianca could hear a pause on the other end of the phone then a sigh. “Oh, what the heck. What time should I be ready?”
         Bianca fist pumped the air. “I’ll be by in an hour.” Not giving her a chance to cancel. “Wear something sexy.” Hanging up before her friend had a chance to change her mind, she knew it didn’t matter what Crystal wore.  The petite brunette could make a gunny sack look like it should be on a runway in Paris.
         Hurrying to get herself together before she headed over to pick up her friend, Bianca sat on the edge of the tub and ran the razor over her legs one more time.  Nothing worse than having stubble show up at an inopportune time.
         After pulling on her bright yellow bikini and making sure the bikini area was free of any stragglers, she pulled on her tight daisy dukes and halter top. Her hair was brushed till it gleamed and placed into a ponytail.  Slipping her feet into a pair of flip flops, she admired the woman looking back at her for a moment, with a quick pet to make sure sunshine knew she hadn’t forgot about her, she headed out the door.
         She couldn’t help but let her mind wonder back to this morning as she drove to pick up her friend. Excitement roared in the pit of her stomach.
