starved! What’s on the menu for today?” Kayne blurted out. If I didn’t know any better I’d say he was feeling the heat of my moment with Onyx. However, he wasn’t enjoying it nearly as much as I was.
“Oh, you already know it is whatever you want.” Polly perked up.
Kayne pulled out the chair for me, putting me on the opposite side of the table from Onyx. I placed the napkin from the plate onto my lap, all the while feeling Onyx’s gaze directly on me. I felt my earlier nerves drop low into my core. The heat from his eyes fell directly to my sex, and my body began to throb at the mere thought of him.
“Excellent. So where are the kids at, Kate?” Kayne’s voice kept me grounded. Reminding me that I was not alone in a dark alley with Onyx , even though the fantasies in my mind were taking me there.
“Oh, who knows? I’m lucky when they check in once a week , and even then I suspect they don’t always tell me exactly where they’re off to.”
“Sounds about right.” Polly chimed in with a laugh. Kayne looked over to me, silently asking if I was doing okay. I gave a firm nod , and a hint of a smile for good measure. As much as I already loathed the women in his family, I still had no reason to show the men any disrespect.
“Joel, did Kayne tell you the two of them went to school together?” Polly’ s tone was that of a child, telling on someone for the hell of it.
Kayne’s dad looked my way with a smile. “No they didn’t. That’s very nice though.”
“Yeah, Andie was actually one of the cheerleaders during high school. We had a lot of the same friends.”
“That’s pretty neat. Did you continue cheering in college, Andie?” Joel asked.
“No, I only did it in high school at first because I like to dance. They didn’t have a dance squad at the time, at least not one I would dare waste my time with.”
“What is it that you do now?” Kate asked, clearly her and her sister were going to shar e the lead role of bitch.
    “I still dance.”
“That’s nice, but I mean, how do you afford your bills and things? That isn’t exactly a reliable job when it comes to raising families, and preparing for them.” Polly chirped up.
“That is what I do.” I made sure to look them both in the eye as I spoke. They were waiting for me to shy away like a timid beaten puppy. Too bad for them, I didn’t scare easily. “I have a very good audience that will pay anything just to see me.”
Out of the corner of my eye I didn’t miss the brilliant white flash of teeth as Onyx beamed a smile. So badly I ached to catch the full effect of it , but I also refused to back down from the privileged bitch sisters.
“How fortunate.” Polly said, ending our discussion.
Soon the topic was changed to include everyone at the table, aside from me and Onyx. The waiters served us a meal fit for the gods, and an endless flow of mimosas kept the conversation going. Kayne talked a mile a minute, answering every question. Telling stories, and making everyone laugh. For a second I even found myself having a nice time. The best part still remained any moment that I could turn my eyes to Onyx, and even if for a flash, take him in. Every single time I looked his way, he was already staring back.
The effect he was having on me was insane. My sex throbbed, my clit ached, and my panties grew wetter as the meal progressed. Anytime I wasn’t directly engaged in something I pictured Onyx’s fingers and arms, mouth and tongue. On me. In me. Holding me. Caressing me. It was making my heart beat so quickly I was sure the surfers in the ocean could hear. But just as I was becoming swallowed up in an erotic fantasy, I was sucked right out.
Kayne took any opportunity to include me, talk to me, or even just put his arm around the back of my chair. He was always careful about touching me , but it was just enough of a distraction to take away the sensual trails my mind was racing down.
My body was one tense knot of frustration.
