wound in her hair and he devoured her mouth with a sinful kiss, she didn’t shy off. She dove in, like a woman starved for sexual release.
“Damn beautiful, you taste fucking good.” Jacob broke off the kiss, touching his ear-piece. Sameera sighed and licked her lips. “I…uh, should get back to my friends.”
“Yes. That’s a good idea. Get the fuck back to your friends.”
Shit . Sam didn’t need to look behind her to know Jimmy found her. Now the question was how to extricate herself from this potential smackdown delicately? Biting her lip, she twisted around at the waist, placing a hand on Jimmy's chest and her other on Jacob’s. “Boys. No need for this to get violent.”
“You have about two seconds to climb the fuck off him and take my hand,” Jimmy growled the words in her ear. Sam sighed and gave an apologetic smile to Jacob. The promise of retribution in Jimmy’s voice both scared and stimulated her libido. He growled reminding her to slide down. She did, and earned a heated look from Jacob whose hand gripped her hip.
“Unless this asshole has some prior claim on you, I can kick him out,” Jacob said.
“This is family business. Go do your job, you’re not fucking her ever. She’s not some goddamn whore to fuck in a club against the wall.”
“Really, Jimmy? I mean didn’t you fuck me just like I was nothing but a whore?” Sameera broke free of the testosterone brawl about to take place and stalked away, leaving the men to have their pissing contest without her. She found her girls at the bar chatting it up with the guys.
    “Hey.”
“Have fun?” Catalina slid a drink over to her. “You look like you need this more than I do.”
Sameera accepted gladly. The cool liquor eased her ire. She leaned her back against the bar relishing the sudden numbness. Even in the black lit room, she could make out Jimmy’s swagger as he made his way over to them. She turned to face the bar. “Can I have a double please?”
A pulsating song drew her attention to the floor. She grabbed her drink. “Let’s go dance, ladies.”
Jimmy spun her around to face him. He lifted the drink out of her hand and drained it, then tossed it on the floor. His close proximity forced her to step away from him, her back hit the bar’s edge. In the dark, she knew his intense gaze traveled over her body. He tapped the bar for a drink and bent toward her, his lips grazed the shell of her ear, causing her to shiver.
“I don’t like his hands imprinted on your ass, Sam.” He nipped her lobe, then sucked on the curve of her neck. “Not one bit.” Jimmy breathed against her skin. The bartender dropped off two drinks. He dug in his pocket, grabbed cash and reached over her to toss the big bill on the bar.
“I’m not your concern, J.J.” She resorted back to his childhood nickname.
Jimmy reached for the drinks, handed one to her and took the other before heading to the dance floor.
“Remember the pact. Not on the Jimmy buffet,” Dominique razzed her. Sam downed her drink, her gaze never leaving the dance floor. Watching her complication tear it up turned her on. She loved a man who could dance.
“Boy’s got moves.” Midian put a hand around her shoulder. “I hope you know what you’re doing. We’re going to be locked up tight on a bus with all that tension right there. Ya’ll could ignite a forest fire with that shit. Sister, I’m telling you…I don’t want to be in the middle.”
“Don’t worry. You won’t be. Let’s go dance, girls.” Sameera ignored her band mate, and headed to the dance floor. A sensual pulsating beat wrapped around her. She looked to her girls and grinned. They knew the score. If the boys got a kick out her dancing that was okay, but if they made a big deal out of she’d rip into them something fierce. They took over the center of the floor. They began with a series of percussive moves to the staccato of each pounding beat. She dropped her hips and raised her hands,
