throw it away, before scooping her up and carrying her to the nearest sofa.
He captured her smooth lips and groaned as her clever tongue teased his. Eventually, he tore his mouth away and shifted, rolling onto the cool floor and pulling her down on top of him. She straddled his waist and he soaked up the view. Light haloed the pale sheet of her hair. His fingers skimmed up her waist, stroking the skin. It was Jeannie’s gaze that captured Malcolm, though. Dew-kissed grass under a drowsy sun stared down at him. The cupid’s bow of her mouth opened in wonder, and her chest rose and fell with swift, hard breaths.
Fierce longing surged through him. He wanted to mark her. Mark her as his. “Come here, Jeannie. Come to me.” Malcolm gave the power back to her. Handed it over. She could refuse. She could retreat. She could recant.
He would let her go. It would kill him. But he would let her go.
Jeannie leaned forward until their mouths met. The world snapped out of focus. Nothing else existed but the fever of life burning in his arms. Her fingers pulled loose his trousers and dipped below to cup the hard length of his cock.
Malcolm nearly lost all semblance of control. He lifted his hips, never breaking from the kiss as his hands fumbled with hers to urge his pants down. Laughter burbled up from the fusion of their mouths when he bounced her, kicking his legs free, but his humor was fleeting as the sensations piled one on top of the other.
Nothing separated them, but he fought to let her maintain the control until she rose up and guided him between her thighs. His eyes opened, scalding red sheening his vision, coating her in burgundy shot through with gold and pale amber.
Hesitation held him poised, the seconds fracturing with anticipation. Her hips dropped as if answering his prayers, and he surged inside of her. Malcolm braced his feet, holding fast to her as she rose again before sheathing his length in the liquid heat of her core.
Jeannie undulated her hips, taking him deeper. He fought his body, the burn in his gums as his fangs threatened to elongate. Hunger clawed at him, tearing at the inside of his skin. He fought his nature, the wild thrum of her pounding heart summoning him, arousing the hunt, the need and the want. He wanted to pound into her, take her body, take her blood, and take everything. But he fought it, he wanted to make it last. He would make this pleasure, her pleasure, last.
“Malcolm.” Her fingers gripped his shoulders, nails digging in and sharpening the pleasure raging through him. “Bite me.”
His reason snapped. Malcolm’s nostrils flared as he drank in her scent, greedy for a fill of her. His fangs sharpened, descending as the flavor of her mouth swirled around his tongue. Her tongue touched at his fangs, almost curiously, and he thrust it away with a shove of his tongue.
Lunging upwards to his feet, he wrapped her body around his, pounding into her as his mouth took possession of hers. He took two unsteady steps and lowered their joined bodies onto the lounge, rising up to drive deeper as he kissed his way down to her throat. Jeannie locked her fingers in his hair, urging him onward even as her body rose to meet the punishing beat of his thrusts. His fangs sharpened, plunging into her throat.
Hot, sweet bliss flooded his mouth. Pleasure screamed inside his veins. Thought evaporated.

Chapter Seven
Heat slammed through her body from the first touch of his hand on hers in the theatre. His kiss was far from gentle, but she didn’t want him to be. Stifled passion desperate to be unleashed roared through her. The last three days of frustration left their mark and she wanted his hands on her. His hands. His lips. His teeth.
The moment his cock sank into her sex, she lost all sense of time. The vampiric nature that made her so nervous on their first meeting became the aphrodisiac of this one. She saw the hunger burning in his eyes and surrendered to it. His teeth sinking into her
