and milk. I’m not all that hungry now. Maybe I’ll have something else at lunch.’ Her voice was unsteady and the breath rasped in her throat.
‘Okay. In that case I’ll just have coffee. No point in cooking for myself.’ He set a bowl of muesli in front of Beth and poured coffee for both of them. Pulling up a chair, he sat down and held the coffee to her lips. When she had drunk a bit he began to feed her. He noticed that her breath had slowed, but her erect nipples were still outlined under the blouse.
Beth raised her eyes and looked at him. ‘Enjoying the game?’ she asked. She wriggled a bit on the chair and her breasts jiggled slightly with the motion. She knew what effect she was having on him, and seemed to be enjoying her power.
‘Yes. I like it. I never thought not having sex could be fun, but this is the way to do it. Do you have any more bright ideas?’
‘A few,’ Beth replied enigmatically. ‘Stick around for a week or so and we’ll see what comes up. In the meantime feel free to try out some of your own fantasies with me. I don’t want you to feel left out. I’m open to most things and I like surprises every now and then.’ After a pause Beth asked for another sip of coffee. Afterwards she resumed eating from the spoon he held for her. When she was done, she asked him how he planned to spend the day, adding, ‘I’m lucky. I don’t have to make any plans.’ Beth wriggled a bit more on the chair and her skirt rode up so that her stocking tops were visible.
Tom tore his gaze away from her thighs and replied, ‘I hadn’t made any definite plans. You caught me on the hop. I had been planning to spend the weekend doing what we usually do – screwing our brains out. Shopping, I suppose. I’ve been neglecting that lately. And maybe a cinema. I really don’t know.’
‘Why don’t you give what’s her name, Valerie, the girl at the office, a call? You could use my phone if you like. I can’t stop you. And maybe you two can have a nice evening while I’m lying bound and gagged in my lonely bed.’ Beth assumed an air of mock resignation as she made this proposal.
Tom remembered how his account of an earlier tryst with Valerie had aroused Beth. She had been interested in the details of their lovemaking, and had asked endless questions. He guessed she would be imagining their sweaty exercises while she lay helpless in the dark bedroom if he were successful in making a date for the night. He realised it was rather late – Saturday morning – to make a call! He didn’t want to give Valerie the impression that she was an after-thought or a last resort. In fact he had rather enjoyed the times with her. She was lively and interesting and he might have spent more time with her if he hadn’t been so deeply wrapped up with Beth.
‘Okay. I’ll try it. I might enjoy a bit of company tonight. Much better than spending the time on my own. And we get on well,’ he added, to see what effect it would have on Beth.
She frowned momentarily but recovered her earlier interested manner. In order to cover the lapse she said, ‘I’ve had enough for now. Can we go through into the front room?’ Tom nodded and helped Beth to her feet. She moved ahead of him through the door, teetering slightly on her high heels when she stepped onto the carpeting and it gave beneath her weight. Beth recovered her balance and moved across the room to sit on the settee. ‘The phone’s just there on the table,’ she reminded him as she settled back awkwardly.
‘I know. I’ve been here before. When I’m ready, no, when I’ve got you ready, I’ll make the call.’ Tom went through into the bedroom and emerged with the rest of the rope. He dropped it in a pile at her feet.
Beth smiled up at him and asked, ‘Are you going to leave me here for a while? I’m all for a change.’
‘That thought had crossed my mind,’ Tom replied as he turned away to reenter the kitchen.
She heard him opening cupboard doors and
