happy.  He came back.  He was here.  Then the smile was wiped off her face and a different kind of thrill hit her.  One that didn’t go to her belly but shot right through her heart.  It happened when he spoke.  He said the one word she thought she would never hear from his lips.  The word he had only ever spoken to her once before.
    Her name.
She turned slowly, and was surprised to see his casual appearance.  He was still impeccably dressed but not in the usual way.  He wasn’t wearing a suit.  He was wearing designer jeans, a pale blue t-shirt and a black leather jacket.  He looked positively edible.  He smiled his genuine smile at her and she felt it across her entire body.

Epilogue

He’d seen her plenty.  Every week for months in fact.  She was a beauty.  He liked the way she called him sir, her voice all honey and sultry.  But he saw fire in her eyes.  He felt her resistance to him.  She wasn’t dominant but still not quite as submissive as the girls he usually took.  And that’s what he did, he took .
Week after week he took.  He had given up the other bars he had frequented in the past for the opportunity to go to where she worked.  Every week at the same time to make sure she was there.  She never took a night off.  From the night she started working there he had been drawn to her.  So he came back every week.
He didn’t stop his activities because of her , but instead brought them to her attention.  Flaunting the women and showing her the power he held.  He wanted to make sure that she knew him and knew what he was capable of.  He needed her to really understand him.  He needed to know that she would accept him and that she would give in to him.  And she needed to agree to his proclivities and enjoy the same things.
She also needed to know what he was willing to give up for her.  That she held the power to erase all of the women from his life, from his bed.  Only her. There had never been anyone else capable of doing that for him.  It was like she was made solely for him.  And their activities last weekend had only solidified that.  She needed to understand.
T hen and only then , would he treat her the way that he wanted to.  Yes, he had known from the start she was different.  Week after week he had watched her.  She captivated him - the way she moved, the way she spoke to customers, the flirtatiousness, the smile, her interactions with other staff and her laugh – God, he loved her laugh.  Oh yes, he had watched her very carefully.  Listening to her conversations, he had got to know her very well.
L ast week he felt like giving a little.  He’d forgotten the thrill that came when they struggled.  She had offered just enough fight.
He knew he had her .
Had known for weeks.  But h e had been biding his time.  Waiting for the right moment to strike.  Perhaps he could have waited a few more weeks, let her stew on things a little longer.  Then maybe she would have been less resistant to his charms.  But the pickings were slim that evening and he felt like the challenge.  When that blond man had accosted her at the bar and she had denied him, it had pushed him to make his move.
He was glad that he’d taken her that night, and that he was prepared with the music he had specifically chosen for her, with no one else in mind.  It had been perfect and it had confirmed for him that he had been right.  She belonged with him, to him.  He had almost caved and changed his plans completely when she had snuggled into his arms in bed.  She was so at ease with him, as if she also knew he was her home.  When she had slept he didn’t want to let her go.  But she had needed some space and time, even if she didn’t know it.
So he didn’t ditch his plans, he made her wait, made her dwell on it a bit more.  She needed to want him bad enough that she couldn’t possibly say no.  He couldn’t risk giving her what he wanted until he knew for sure.  So he
