opening
her eyes. I swallowed and could feel my dick starting to get hard again
already. As I looked at her lying naked beneath me, a whirlwind of emotions
rolled around in my head and I now that we’d slept together, I knew I needed to
work this all out soon before one or both of us ended up hurt.

Chapter 4

    Jessie

    I’d
been dreaming; that had to be it. There was no other way to explain why I woke
up naked in a hotel room in Kris’s arms. I was about to close my eyes and try
to wake up again, this time to my reality, but when I shifted around I felt really
sore. My muscles were stiff and when I tried to stretch I felt tenderness
between my legs. I smiled to myself and bit my lip to keep from squealing like
an idiot. This really wasn’t a dream…Kris and I had slept together last night.
    Kris
had his strong arm draped over me and I had to struggle to move. I winced in
pain as I rolled under his arm to face him. He was still sleeping and when I
looked at his face, I lightly gasped. I’d never seen Kris asleep before and he
was even more gorgeous in slumber. I couldn’t resist reaching up and touching his
face and when I did, he stirred.
    He
smiled before opening his eyes and whispered, “Good morning, beautiful.”
    When
his eyelids flickered open and those jade green eyes stared back at me, my
heart skipped a beat.
    I
grinned; he looked as happy as I was to be in this moment.
    “Good
morning,” I answered back, and I was surprised by my own voice. I sounded like
a giddy little child that woke up on Christmas morning to a toy she really
wanted.
    “How
do you feel?” he asked, tracing my cheek with his long fingers.
    “I’m
a little sore, but I’m good.” I was more than good…I was in heaven. “What about
you? Are you okay?”
    He
took a deep breath and grinned that panty-melting grin.
    “I’m
more than okay. Last night was amazing.”
    “Yes
it was,” I answered dreamily. I felt butterflies in my stomach as he leaned
close and kissed me softly. I moaned and opened my mouth, inviting him in. He
touched his tongue to mine for just a quick second before pulling away.
    “What’s
wrong?” I asked, my brows furrowing. “Why did you stop?”
    “I
had to, Jess. If I keep kissing you I’m going to want to take it farther and
you are probably pretty sore this morning,” he answered, running a fingertip
over my bottom lip. “You need to heal a bit before we do this again.”
    “So,
you want to do this again?” I asked, hopeful.
    “Oh
yeah,” he said, giving me a sexy smile. “Last night was fucking earth
shattering.”
    “Really?”
I blushed and bit my lip.
    “Definitely.
You are amazing, Jess, inside and out.”
    I
placed my hand over his heart and I felt it beating rapidly beneath my palm.
    “So
are you, Kris. You always have been.”
    “Jess,”
he whispered, and suddenly I felt his cock thicken and harden against my
stomach.
    I
gasped as his hand left my face and snaked around the nape of my neck. His
mouth covered mine and I whimpered as his tongue slid past my lips my mouth
again and I kissed him back.
    The
arm that was cradling me pulled me into his hard, naked body and I moaned and
wrapped my arms around his neck and combed my fingers through his hair. My leg
instinctively hooked up around his hip and I ignored the pain of my stiff
muscles…I wanted him and I didn’t care if I was sore and hurting. Feeling him
inside me again was worth any pain I felt.
    My
entrance was quickly flooding with my own arousal and my nipples were hardening
as they brushed against his strong, sculpted chest.
    As
he moved his kisses down from my mouth down my neck, I panted, “Kris, I want
you.”
    “Jess,
I can’t. I don’t want to hurt you.”
    “I’ll
be fine, it’s not that bad. Please, I can’t take it…I need you.”
    Kris
pulled away from me again and I grumbled in defeat.
    “I
need you too but I will not hurt you.”
    I
wiggled my hips into him and he
