started eating her pussy.
    “Keep fuckin’ me
Duece,” Sonya demanded, lifting her ass so he could see her wet pussy from
behind. Duece looked at me with a devilish grin.
    “I see why you been
keepin’ this bitch around, cuzz,” he said.
I looked at him like he
was crazy, then walked out of the room and went downstairs. Grabbing my Glock
23 from under the sofa cushion, I ran back upstairs and entered the room. Sonya
and Nicole were both sucking Duece’s dick.
In a rage, I aimed and
emptied my clip in all three of them, loving the fire that jumped out the
barrel.
    They were all still
now. Dead and naked …
… then I woke up in the
middle of the night.

CHAPTER 13

The next morning Casey was cooking
breakfast in the nude. Her body was still flawless. The scarf she had on her
head revealed the back of her neck; it was the first time I saw the tattoo—she
had my government name inked on her. Samuel Wright.
    “When did you get
that?” I asked.
    “Get what?”
    “That on yo neck.”
    “Oh.” She rubbed it. “About
a year after you got locked up.”
    “Is that right?” I was
surprised.
    “That’s right. You’re
the only one for—”
    My phone rang and she
stopped talking. It was Sonya.
    “Yeah,” I answered.
    “Spade, somebody broke
in my house!” she said angrily.
    “What?!” I was pissed.
I stood up and paced the kitchen.
    “They did it last
night. When me and Nicole came here this morning my shit was trashed!”
    “What’s up wit’ the
shit?” I asked, referring to the cocaine. I didn’t give a fuck about her place
being trashed.
    “Gone,” she said.
I hung up on her. I had
to get there.
    “What’s wrong, baby?”
Casey had heard everything.
    “This bitch just told
me somebody broke in her shit and took my stash that was over there.”
    “Before you get too emotional
and react foolishly, evaluate the situation.”
    She made perfect sense.
But I wasn’t trying to hear that shit. I looked at her like she was crazy.
    “I’ll be back,” I said.
    I went and got dressed,
then headed out the door.
    “Be careful, Spade!”
Casey yelled behind me.

CHAPTER 14

    Before I headed to Sonya’s house, I
decided to stop at Duece’s. When I got to the front door, he was opening it.
    “Sonya called me and
told me what happened,” he said.
“I knew I should of put
cameras on that muhfucka.” I walked in.
    “We gon’ find the
niggas that did this shit, bro.”
    We both sat on his
sofa. His house was a little filthier than usual. And he didn’t look too good.
    “Man, they got four
bricks and forty thousand,” I said, looking at him upside his head.
    “Damn,” he replied.
    “We gotta get up wit’
Kutz later on. You in?”
    “Not on this run, bro.”
He rubbed his face. “I’m kinda fucked up.”
    I didn’t feel like
asking why he wasn’t ready. “A’ight, cuzz, I’ma shake. Call me if you hear
somethin’.”
I got up and left. In
my truck, on the way to Sonya’s, I called OG Casa. He told me the bitch was
behind it with no hesitation. He never really liked Sonya.

    ***

Sonya and Nicole were cleaning up when I
walked in. I walked straight to the room that my safe was in. The safe was ripped
out of the wall. Someone knew it was there. No doubt about that.
    There was never heavy
traffic over Sonya’s. No flashy cars parked outside, nothing. Someone had to
put somebody on it. I walked back downstairs.
    “What time you get
here?” I asked Sonya.
    “Like a hour ago.” She
looked frustrated.
    “Yo neighbors ain’t see
nothin’?”
    “Nothin’, baby. I’m
scared, I have to move, Spade.” She hugged me tight. I felt sorry for her
because her house was ransacked. But I didn’t trust her. I noticed there was no
forced entry. No broken windows. Nicole was cleaning up, on hush-mouth. She
kept looking at me like she had something to tell me.
    I told Sonya not to
call the police, then I walked out of the house. I had to get to the bottom of
this
